PHOTOS: CollectA 2012 Sable Antelope - Male

Hi everyone

I have taken photos of the two CollectA sable's which I recently received from them. These are the final plastic models. I hope you like them as much as I do.

I am glad you like them. The Male Sable is my single most favourite item of 2012 by any brand.

Thanks Numaan for the pictures! I'm sure without your help the figures would never result as nice as they look. It is only a shame the female decision. I know that was not your fault and we ended with a male with a light body as a female. As you clearly see the neck of the male is not as strong as it was supposed for a sable, it looks almost like a goat or an okapi, don't you agree?
Is not casually that they were called horse like antelopes, they are powerful and have a strong chest and neck. :)
Also the markings in the face are wrong for a giant sable if it is supposed to be that subspecies, I referred it previously, I'm surprised it was not changed in the final figure?
I like the horns although very short as it happens with Mojo but we know why.
Well, but it is time to show our joy with 2 more great figures in the market, surely among the best and I think I don't need to see them in real life to see that it is even better than the Safari one.
I think it is not even the best CollectA 2012 figure what shows the nice work the brand developed this year.

Great photos Numaan...I really like the female. Do you, or anyone else, have all 3 brands of sables to show them all together...or maybe put photos next to each other...I am not that techy...well I guess I can copy and paste. But the best would be all four together lined up and do a walk-a-round. I don't ask for much do I...

Shawn, Christophe will make a walk arround review. He already have the Safari and Mojo figures, he is only waiting for the CollectA ones. :) Kiki takes always fantastic pictures, we only need to be patient.

The face markings issue is being addressed with CollectA as we speak. I did try to resolve this earlier but it is a small change that can be easily made. However it means the first batch will have the markings as shown above and the new batches will have the smaller white eye brow marking - so already a variation for you guys!
