A little 1:12 Dachshund I made for my sister, it's her Birthday coming up and she loves these dogs. It's for her 1:12 hat/dress shop she's making.

geek She's making it from a kit, it will be based off Jessica Ridley's hat shop (she used the same kit). She hasn't been working on it for a long time, so I hope this little dog will motivate her to finish it. The shop isn't to play with, it's just fun making things for it and making it look realistic.

Harriet, that is a beautiful little dog. Your sister should be very happy with it. If this dog doesn't motivate her to finish her little hat shop, I don't know what will. You did an amazing job on it. The details are fantastic.

It doesn't look much, but I'll post a photo of what it will look like, I mentioned Jessica Ridley well I have her book and there are several photos of the shop inside and out bounce it won't be exactly the same, but similar.

(Both my brother and my sister own dachshunds. And we had one growing up. Definitely my favorite breed, hands down.)

Thanks Scott - I expect we'll get one some day. My favourite breed is a Lakeland Terrier, which I hope to get next year (really hope). It would be great if we got one of each so they can grow up together. drunken

It seems that if you have had one dachshound, you will always have a dachshound.
They are such personalities and are experts in training their owners Wink
Our queen has always had them, right now she has two.

I don`t know the Lakeland terrier except for pictures and dog shows.
Terriers are great too .
The problem with that kind of fur is they have to be trimmed ever so often, which is quite expensive Rolling Eyes

I'm going to learn how to care for a lakie's coat Very Happy I've read that people say it's hard work but enjoyable and you only need to do it twice a year.
