| This SUY topic is devoted to squirrels, ground squirrels, marmots and all members of Sciuromorpha so also dormice and mountain beaver. These animals are wonderful and very cute, and probably have best reputation from all rodents :) . Red squirrel is best known member from this group, many kids and adults love them for their acrobatic skills, big eyes, fluffy tails and beautiful red fur. In some parks these animals are not afraid of people and always checking if someone has something to eat for them There is many species of squirrels, ground squirrels, and marmots and many figures of them available on the market however most represented is red squirrel. For more scientific information about Sciuromorpha please click the link above Here are my cuties [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Two red squirrels from CollectA, current and previous version :) Older version on the left. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Schleich marmot, retired model :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And related to squirrels and marmots are also dormice. Here my Japanese dormouse by Kaiyodo :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] It would be wonderful to see photos of squirrels and friends from many collections! _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection

| What a great group of pictures!
Thank you Anna, Kristie, Susanne, Harriet, and Lance, for sharing.
@Anna, I love that Collecta Squirrel! (the more recent one -- the one eating.) I got it recently and it looks better in person than it did in the pictures I had previously seen. It is painted very nicely. The pictures of it above, however, are really good and do it justice.
@Harriet, I still think that bullyland micro Squirrel is awesome. Long live micro-squirrel.
I am in squirrel and marmot heaven.

It's on the right, with the stripe down its back and black and white around its eyes?) Here's my modest contribution. (I am leaving out the three Schleich squirrels I have.) First, my Kaiyodo Squirrel. I believe they listed it as a Eurasian Red Squirrel. (In the top frame, it is next to the collecta.) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.](This Kaiyodo is particularly gruesome with respect to the seams. You can pop off his face. I hope this doesn't make Andreas squirm too much.) And just because I like it so much, I'll include another picture of the CollectA Eating Squirrel that Anna already photographed beautifully above. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Not to be weird or anything, but I've always thought moving to an international "squirrel" currency would be a great idea, if only because we'd be able to ask questions like, "How much is that in squirrels?" and people would have to carry around bags of squirrels.

| Harriet what a beautiful photo and lovely collection :) (again ) I also love Bullyland micro squirrel, one day I will need to order it too :) About what the CollectA squirel keeps in paws, well, to me it looks like pine cone Scott, I'm happy You're enjoying CollectA squirrel too Great photos and Kaiyodo squirrel as well, this one has very nice and unusual pose :) Squirrel currency? That's indeed crazy idea, remind me about "Esperanto language' project Would be very nice Andreas, Lance, great collections, a lot of figures I see first time Thank You for sharing _________________ Anna Horse and Bird studio - Horse sculptures My model horse collection
