| Hi, I wanted to buy some safari animals but I can't decide which animals... So I was wondering: What are, according to you, the 'must haves' of safari ltd. _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Anne-Joke [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ajs.artistry - Instagram AJs Artistry Shop - Etsy |

| Some of my absolute favorites (most of which have already been mentioned) are: American Badger, Indian Rhinoceros, Puma, Howling Grey Wolf, Black Bear, Reindeer, American Bison, White Rhinoceros (the more recent version), Platypus, Hippopotamus, Capybara, White Wolf (which you already have), Lesser Kudu, Pronghorn Buck, Arabian Oryx. If it's your thing, I like the Bantam Hen too. Harriet's picture of the Badger is seriously awesome. Here are some pictures of some of the others. Not really, I just meant the other wolves, the grey howling one and the cub. _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Anne-Joke [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ajs.artistry - Instagram AJs Artistry Shop - Etsy |

| Though it would be fun to have a repaint job on them. _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Anne-Joke [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ajs.artistry - Instagram AJs Artistry Shop - Etsy |

| Scott, I love the black bear and platypus too, they're gorgeous! the hippo is interesting, I've never really given her much thought but seeing your photo has made me think otherwise. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

That would be really interesting, Anne-Joke! It's a good idea. I really love the grey wolf (howling). That and the White Wolf are excellent. - HKHollinstone wrote:

Harriet, I probably never would have bought the hippo had I not been in a store and seen it in person. I was surprised at how much I liked it. It has a really nice texture. (and the calf is cute too.) One thing I love about the platypus is that the sculpting really gives the animal a sense of weight. It looks like a heavy sack resting on the ground (a sack of guts and muscle and bones, that is). It looks very alive. |

| Some really nice replicas here. I have the reindeer too and would recommend it highly. The mandarin duck looks great.
I can't recommend much else because I dont have much Safari but I like my turtles a lot - green sea and loggerhead. _________________ More pictures of my Collection... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ...Latest update 08/03/20 |

I agree about the platypus, it's beautifully sculpted and the paintwork is nice too. I'll have to think about the hippo then, I want to get the Mojo one which is maybe a better match colour wise to the Papo hippo. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*
