| Congrats Lance! :) It looks you will turn very soon in one of the hardest Safari collectors of the forum! Please show us pictures, mainly when you have some retired figures and also new figures because is not easy to find information about Safari as it is about Schleich or so. Thanks for saying the years, that's a useful info! |

| I would love to get a list of retired Safari figures I can't find hardly any info on them. I contacted Safari directly but they only sent me a list of what was retired this year |

- thank you everyone! I love Safari ltd!
Great Lance! We still have few information about long retired Safari figures, it would be nice to have a Safarilogist here! Do you have any questions about retired figures? i have a catalog and own most all the basic wildlfe figures from 1996. All i'm missing is the running lioness and leopard cub, as well as several of the original forest animals (white swan, bison, brown bear, moose calf, golden eagle, fawn). i believe i have all the others and i would love to answer any questions about them. Is the 2006 aardvark really a rare and valuable figure? I have it and i intend to keep it, i'm just curious. That's really nice, but there are so many questions to ask! :) I'm not sure but I think Sumo had a moose calf to trade? I know it is hard but why don't you show your collection arranged by years? It would be very interesting to many members! :) The oldest Safari figure I own it's marked 1997, nice to know that regular ranges were already available since 1996! :) The lack of information makes the brand be less valuable than Schleich that we can find a lot of websites with all figures and dates. Hard collectors of brands are the better to help the collectability of the brands and to turn their collections even more precious. How do we know what is to collect if we don't find information? The aardvark is a very interesting figure, there's no many aardvarks in this hobby and many of us want it! I doubt it has a high value because of the reasons I told before, the figures from Safari from regular series dont' get expensive usually! The only thing I can say is that mine is very precious for me as yours is precious for you! |
