| As I've said before Friesian horses are my favourite breed - so I had to have this one. I bought him about a week ago now and haven't had time to post pictures. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| Hi Harriet, Congrats on your new horse!. If my memory serves me correctly this Friesian is the larger one from the Blue Ribbon Collection. They also make a smaller one in the winners circle collection. It is a stallion. Friesian's are beautiful animals. Congrats again! |

Thank you Amy and Larry! Yes that's right Larry, he's from the blue ribbon collection - I have three from the series, I'm not collecting all of them, these are the only ones I wanted: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Yes, I've seen the winners circle one, it looks really nice, I might get one some day. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

| Wonderful figuere, Harriet ! Congratulations Fabulous photoes of a fabulous horse I am just such an old fashioned old woman, - I can`t get used to them being so light. In "The good old days" they were large, powerfull creatures with big hooves and lots of "feathers" on their legs. Some friends of some of my friends had two Fresian stallions, and when they came riding on them, the earth shook But it is the same in all breeds. The old Oldenburgers, - alas, gone for ever, being mixed with thoroughbred... |

Thank you Susanne - I've mentioned it before, but you should watch "ladyhawke" it has the most beautiful Friesian horse. I don't name my model horses but this Safari Friesian will be named after the horse in the film, his name was "Goliath" I can imagine they would shake the ground. Isn't it funny, Friesian horses are my favourite breed and yet I've never seen one is real life! I love powerful looking animals, there's something really appealing about them. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

Thanks Batli - yes I do like the winner's circle very much. I really couldn't collect them though - it's either wildlife or horses and I choose wildlife I usually get the Schleich horses I like at the beginning of the year then for the rest, I try to just collect wildlife. - Roger wrote:
