No, thanks to telling me! :) It was very nice to read the history of the breed. Mainly when they say that the presence of the dog in Portugal "is evidenced by artifacts found under the Lisbon Cathedral"! Laughing
I personally find artifacts of all dog breeds everywhere in Lisbon! :) pale What a Face

As you know I bought from ebay some Safari, the black bear listed here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] isn't the right one pictured, you'll be getting the old one... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Of course I emailed them and they said they'd update the picture, but it looks like they haven't done it yet.
So, just thought I'd say in case anyone buys it.

I didn't post a picture of the black bear adult as I thought I'd be sending it back, but I kept it in the end. What a Face I don't really like him though, I was disappointed it wasn't the new adult Sad

I never saw this old Safari bear before. I think it would be interesting to someone who is collecting all Safari line, bears or even someone that likes it. So I think you can easily trade it.
I'd loved to see a picture of this bear! Very Happy

I remember seeing the large bear in Susanne's pictures but I haven't noticed that this one is the same.
In the link where you found it, the figure has the same reference number as the new one, 273529!!! Do you have the tag with the correct number? Suspect

You're right Roger, mine is different from Susanne's - it's the same mould but it's not as cartoon like. I'll take a picture of the one I have to show you and have a look at the tag for the number...

On "happy happy sue" this bear has the same item number as the new one, so I think they've just updated the model and kept the same item number, you can see the item number in the pictures "2735-29":

This is a update of the painting from Susanne's.
I'll try to see if they changed the references from other species like the new lion! Is not usual to keep the same number in clearly different moulds even the new black bear is also a walking adult, and obviously a improvement of this version.
Thanks for the ictures, this painting looks much better! :)
