Brand TYCO - animal / dino figurines

... Tyco - uknown (for me) brand of animal figurines? Does anybody know something about those play-sets?

Tyco is definitely not a unknown brand.
The Dino-Riders series was popular in the 80s. If I remember correctly there were a cartoon and comics of it.

I think that those Dinoriders Ice Age -sets are quite valuable if they're still in their original package. I have only the "killer warthog" (i don't know if its supposed to be entelodont or something) and it's missing its tail, so I don't think it's very worthy.

Btw fun fact, the T-rex toy in the Pixar film Toy Story is inpired by the Tyco T-rex : )

Dino Riders were very popular in the 80ths, like He-Man or Transformers. Also in Germany. I'm surprised that you do not know them, Andreas.

By the way, I have all the dinosaurs and also the ice aged mammals :)

They were great toys.

They are nice models.I have the Ground Sloth and Smilodon but without the figures.They are jointed and positional.The sets look really great!.
