Sure - this is the horse I'm working on at the moment. Bully Friesian to .... Friesian (haha, surprise!)
It is not one of the earliest WIP photos, because I normally don't do them, but this is what I did: Cut the head off and put it back on straight. Gave the thing much more crest and a new mane (sorry for that crummy offside photo - couldn't get a better one). I also tucked the tail in and secured it with a wire on the hindleg - the apoxie-spot shows where the wire hole was.

Which clay do you use? I want to get some and don´t know which one to choose. How is this one when hardened? It doesn´t need oven, does it?

it's called apoxie sculpt and it dries rock-hard over night - no baking needed.

The colour is a really good detail !
As far as I know very few horses are really black all year round.
But at shows and competitions they can be rubbed with some stuff that makes them look more black...just as artificial hair can be added to the mane and tail

EDITED: Oh I see! They come in different colors! Gosh, learning German is helping me a bit at least :)

Hi, yes it is a new head - it belonged to the standing arabian mare.
