Schleich retired figures for 2013

ladies and gentlemen, there is two topics about 2013 retired SCHLEICH, one with member who are waiting for the list and one where members are discussing about a list... I will merge the two topics

Given the difficult economic situation in the EU and everywhere, that may prove difficult for current ownership. My guess is that they will ask for an artificially high price and wind up backing it down to a more reasonable amount.

I'm certainly not attempting to "compare apples with oranges" but wasn't Bullyland sold to a German buyer this year? I wonder what the sale price and Bully financials looked like...

I think perhaps they retire badger because there is already too many grey/black/white small mammals and they may be consider as too similar to each other for many customers? We have racoon family, badgers and skunk in 2012 catalog. Would that be the reason? :)

Perhaps they consider it too similar to 2 adult racoons and 1 adult skunk, and maybe they think it is more boring figure than 2 badger babies Seriously, I don't know, it doesn't seem logical decision

...

already they are getting rid of antelopes only the adult gazzle will be the only antelope the kudus should be the only antelopes left in the catalog because they are from 2011

They were on the schleich homepage for a few weeks. Now they are gone from there, but there are no changes.

I have the 2013 catalogue too and all animals that should be retired are retired. So the list is right!

but it's amazing! so many figurines that were just released in 2012---even in late 2012!---are retired.

i've bought the items that are retired and still missing in my collection yesterday.
i'm really looking forward to the elephant and the rhino! i guess, they'll arive tomorrow.
