Model horse photo show

hey guys so i thought it would be fun to host a photo show on schleichteirslammer!!!
I will judge it!
so here are the rules:
1. 1 photo per horse
2. 2 horses or less per class
3. you cant use the same horse in 2 gender classes, you cant use the same horse twice in the same color class, and you cant use the same horse twice in the color class but you can use one horse in a gender, color, and breed class.
4. pm questions to me!
5. for first places and grand and reserve champs you will receive printable ribbons
6. Any type of model horse is allowed
7. have fun

ahh... um its not too bad compared to one o the shows i went to! they had over 32 rules!!!!

Great! any background is ok as long as I can see the model Cearly. Any type/Band can be used. You post the photos here. and the deadline is September 10th.

No Alvaro, that's a Icelandic horse, not a pony only the rider is very big!
It looks they used shetland ponies while developing the breed but Susanne can help you better! :)
They are known also as Iceys as Susanne called!

The vikings brought their proud horses with them to iceland over 1000 years ago, and there has been no influence from other breeds since then.
They look more or less exactly like horses did at that time.

So, if they have anything to do with shetlands, it should be that some viking also left a horse there at some time , but on the shetland islands they bred them very small, because they could not feed larger horses

You know, I have a dream to fing some icelandic horse in 1:32 scale (like Breyer stablemate) and make a kind of photostory about the first years in Iceland (or maybe some kind of pics to the sagas, whose great fan I am). I have more than 20 viking figurines on my shelves... But the only mini Icey figure I've even seen was a resin one, rather HTF.

As long as the northmen visited the British Isles several times during the Age of Vikings, and even stayed there for winter, I believe they had thier native horses with them. And surely their horses might have influnced on local breeds.

yep thats great but if you are doing more entries you dont have to right the name of the class just the number that way its easier for me and for u
