cartoonish bear figure made by schleich !!!

I found this figure in an old box and while looking at it I saw this:

I've never seen this figure or symbol/logo in the Schleich range so maybe someone can tell me more about it.

MGM probably stands for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
So it is sort of old Merchandize model. Schleich and Bullyland both made a lot of those

About the logo, perhaps this helps :

I have no idea about the logo but I think it's a figure of Spike the dog from Tom and Jerry cartoons

Very nice model A-J. Even without the collar I would agree with everyone here and say it is Spike.
