Hey mastiffcat, the second pic from me with the scruffy gray/brown dog and the yellow dog are from Schleich. The gray one is the farm dog, not the tan one obviously he is a variation, number 13265(-2 I think...), and the yellow one is a golden retreiver, number 16313. The scruffy one reminds me of a poodle or schnauzer mutt, and the other I always pretended he was old yeller when I was kid. Both pretty old and very dear to me since they are among the first figures I ever got.
(and I am not sure the numbers for them are correct, they are from the Gaschers book, and some of them are wrong I heard...)

One of my freinds breed Shibas. They get very few puppies - one or two in a litter - so they are enormously expensive

Perhaps it is in-breeding in European Shibas ?

Ken, your Shiba figures are super! Shibas are sooooo cute! I considered getting one, but during my research, every single Shiba owner I asked said they could never let their dog off-leash outside of a fenced area, and often that they are door-bolters.
In my book, bolting is second only to aggression in nondesirable traits, so that was it for my ever getting a Shiba.
But, i love their look!

Thanks Harriet! Currently it's not easy to get and the only place to get is Japan or China. I will look out or any STS members from Japan may able to help.
