Susannes birds from Safari Wings of the world

I will always find it hard to restis a model of a bird.
So even if I don`t collect Safari ( ), the birds have sneaked in whenever it was possible

Some time ago...about a year ago, I got a bit scared off, because the aras (Macaws) arrived from the shop with broken legs, but resently , at last , new ones replaced them

The dodo was one of the first WOW-birds I got :

I was fortunate to get the old eagle..now I am looking for the golden eagle in the same mould

The condor was one of my latest models. It is a model which is difficult to display without strings or trees.
The blue Hyacinth Macaw is shown together with the condor, because he had hidden on a shelf while I took the picture of the others

I was fortunate to get the brown pelican just before it became hard to find

Beautyful peacock, the designer didn`t lack fantasy

The barn owl...hmmm, the paintwork COULD be better, just look at the one from CollectA

It could be really fun to have the Flamingo standing in grass also...

A few days later : The swans also belong in the WOW-series
They have bendable necks

The Californian condor and the Mandarin duck are on my whishlist too !

About painting, I agree the COLLECTA Barn owl has better clothes. The most surprising is your Toucan, the painting is different from mine.

That's a fantastic series! I'm not sure but I think that here are only missing the golden eagle and white and black swans! I have none of them to show but you can see them here... on Torben's collection!

Susanne, how come you have so many Safari birds if you don't collect Safari?!?

I have 4 (barn owl, virginia eagle owl, flamingo and mandarin duck) from this series, but Bald Eagle, Hyazinth Ara, Amazon Parrot, Peacock, Toucan and Snowy Owl are on my wishlist.
