A fabulous example from the Papo range of Forest Life animal figures.

This model was photographed in Bradgate Park Leicestershire. This is a famous deer park and isn't very far from where we live.

Those are magnificent pictures, Chris! Thanks for sharing with us. Very Happy
As I don't collect babies I usually don't give them the deserved atention. geek
Watching carefully that figure is interesting to see how nicely sculpted it is, fits very well for a baby of red deer species, and the best I know. Curious that Papo was also the only brand able of making a baby cheetah that looks somewhat like a baby. Others are usually too unnaturally cute. :)
Papo can also make extra cute babies like the hippo, but again with a natural looking.
It is also the only brand that female big cats are carrying babies that look like recently borns, what makes sense. study
If white markings were lesser and less vibrant this fawn would be perfect. cheers
Hurray for you and Papo!!! Laughing

Roger, firstly many thanks for your very nice comments about these photos. I agree Papo do some excellent representations of animal babies and youngsters. This one is superb as are their big cats carrying their cubs. Truly imaginative and on a level with old Elastolin and Lionel models IMHO.

Thank you for your nice pics Chris. I agree with Susanne and Roger. PAPO is able to make the poorest models ever but also some magnificent ones which can reach the level of older brands. I especially think about this fawn or the Yak. They have an HAUSSER style and have a lot of personality as a LINEOL. I think that's what I love the most in a figurine drunken

Thank you Christophe I appreciate your comments. I love the expression this deer model has. It looks slightly startled! Papo has certainly captured this in an excellent manner.
