My DISNEYLAND diorama Empty
PostSubject: My DISNEYLAND diorama    My DISNEYLAND diorama EmptyFri Oct 26, 2012 11:02 am

Friends , for the past one month , I really worked hard to create my miniature DISNEY LAND , for a special festival called " Navrathri " [ a special occassion for the Hindus ] . Most of the props in this diorama were meticulously hand made by me and inspired from my dream world . I am so happy guys , to share my work with you all Very Happy

Especially the CASTLE , PARADE WAGONS , PLACARDS, NAME BOARDS , HOARDINGS , MICKEY LOGOS , DECORATED designed CARDS , ABSTRACT IMAGES of PETERPAN'S HOUSE , other finer details like the window borders , sunshades , flags , staircases , foot steps , windows etc. were all painstakingly hand made .

also the Giant wheel and the roller coaster were specially made for this diorama [ welded ]

[ after all , a month of sleepless nights Mad Laughing Sad Shocked ]

the journey begins .....bird's eye view of Disneyland in the night
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

the Mickey's blue hat with Piano blocks and musical symbols are my imaginations [ inspired by Fantasia movie ]

Belle , the beauty and the Beast on parade

Wagons - another side view . you can see the wagon wheels , the colorful flowers were all cut from thermacoal and craft color papers and glittering stones and powders were pasted on the flowers and fish

Patch of Heaven - a pastoral beauty with some famous Disney animated characters standing , surrounded by a rail track on which my original vintage train runs [ 70 yrs. old ]

Peter pan's house of wonders - the various abstract images you see on this house - the clouds , sky , big Ben tower , train with smoke , ship , sun , moon , Giraffe , zebra , Dolphin , water , mushroom were all designed by me Very Happy Every thing straightaway cut out from color papers and mounted on a wooden box [ with out any pencil outline ] simulating the ambience of kids' play house

behind the house , from the fr behind corner , you can see " it's a small world " - displaying six continents of the world - Europe , Australia , Africa, Antartica , Asia and America
