Nice CollectA Horses 2011-2012 has broke my heart! ;)

Hi friends! I don,t collect Horses (in more part). But! Those nice CollectA Horses 2011-2012 has broke my heart (as our Kiki say)!

Gorgeous additions sergey! They are fabulous! I do not have any of their horses yet, but really want some!

That's the reason why I think that horses series need dedicated or specialized sculptors. We probably don't like the rubbery material, sometimes not even the painting but those are sculptures of horses and most of them full of life.
They have proportions of mature animals and share some common characteristics what is natural when made from the same sculptress.
Not 100% accurate, I don't know a single figure that is 100% like Sergey says... but generally very good. I confess I'm thinking geting my first CollectA horse in 2013, one of the Dartmoor ponies!

I agree but only in part The thoroughbred mares look like young mares, maybe 2 yo, so... No maturity here :)

If you look at the pictures, the fillies have long lines and more slender bodies than the adult mares, which have more defined muscles and look a bit heavier. It is said that 2 yo horses are "ungainly" (I hope I wrote it correctly and chose the correct word), and I think it´s the best word to describe them! (I mean "DESGARBADO" in Spanish, just in case anyone knows that) They just look with longer lines than adult horses, the proportions are sightly different. By this age they are growing in lenght and hight, is when they reach 3-3,5 yo that they start to add muscle to their building and adquire the mature-horse look.

But I think they are pretty well sculpted! Not many brands do 2 yo colts and fillies. And I love the morphology of horses at this age!

I don`t have many CollectA horses, but they ARE fantastic.
I agree with all that Roger writes, - and me too, I can`t wait to get the new Dartmoores and compare them to the rather excentric looking old ones

Yeah, CollectA horses have a lot of personality. Even the standing horses look powerful.

Of course it helps. It is quite visible comparing 1st and 3rd picture. I noticed indeed that mature horses are much more muscular but that is curious to see that there is a huge difference between body shapes. I'll not describe them but fillies have a simplier geometry!
