These are my newbies. I got the opportunity to go to a large city yesterday and also to visit an old favorite toy shop. Now, the ostrich was surprisingly nice in my opinion, I just thought it would be another ostrich, nothing special. The main thing I love is the feathers, they are really detailed, and just something about this ostrich (and the last one) is just great, I really like them. The macaw is surprisingly great as well. And at least for the moment he is my favorite macaw in my collection. And for the last of the Schleich, the Shetland isn'y really a "wow" figure, but just another example of how a simple paintjob can change a figure drastically. The older black version I feel like was boring, and though a paintjob doesn't quite make this figure stand out it does make it a little more interesting to look at. Now, a few months ago I got the Safari moose bull from a vacation visit, and finally he has his family to join him! Wonderful figures of moose, especially the calf, and I hope other brands can also go about releasing moose cows and calves as well. And lastly, my collectAs. I traded the cassowary and eland to Karin recently, and since they sat on my desk for a few days I got to appreciate their great sculpts and painting, and had to go out and get some for my own shelves. And as you all probably know, they are fantastic figures so I won't say anymore.

Great figures, I have also these CollectA in my collection and both ostrich and macaw could easily belong to it once I suspect they're as nice or better than other representatives I own from the same species. Congratulations!

I was studying for a big test coming up next week that I'm nervous about, and got a lovely surprise!

Hurray! I ordered some Bullyland figures (which are notoriously hard to find in the US) and they came TWO WEEKS early! These are especially exciting since for one, Bullyland is fairly rare to find in the US, two the figures are retired (or suspected to be near retirement), and three they are truly wonderful figures. Here they are. The bears are much bigger than I anticipated, but their detail is great. The ruff on the adult is clearly glued on, and as another member pointed out in a resculpt of it the canines are too far forward but otherwise they are fantastic bear replicas. The wolves are also larger than expected, but being so interested in them they are welcome to my expanding pack (I hope to find the pups soon as well). The python is large, and though I wish he had more defined lobes on his head typical to pythons he is hugely detailed as well (and only the second to my collection). The reindeer is much smaller than I had in mind, his caribou cousin nearly dwarfs him, but since he is the only reindeer model I know of, he is unique. And lastly, my two favorite species of birds. The great gray is awesome, loads of detail and great pose for this perfect predator. As for the lammergeier, or bearded vulture, I didn't even know he existed until two weeks ago, and best part is the figure is holding a femur from some kind animal in his talons, and he is nicely sculpted. Nice Bullyland additions I have a bias for the birds, it is too bad Bullyland stopped expanding their bird series, it was an excellent one.

Thanks guys, they really are great figures. When I first started collecting I wasn't super impressed with Bully figures, partly because the foamy plastic they use was strange to me, but they do have a great treasures! And yes, their birds are amongst the best in species and detail. Glad to have them.
I also update the picture. No natural light yet since its once again late here , but this one is sharper.

Very good choices regarding Bullyland figures and I am also an enthusiast of their brid series. I hope Bully recovers this line and release some more great bird species.
