| Hi all, I have a little friend who likes Schleich. She wished the two litlle rabbits for her birthday, so I bought new ones. See how they have mistreated the poor little kritters : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]These rabbits are not rare or expensive, but I love them. See the other one, - It should be a Black-and-Tan rabbit, - Schleich has changed it into a Brown-and-Tan [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Life is so cruel |

| That wasn´t the idea from Schleich. That´s a newer european law. On the new models you can even see in which month they are produced. Since 2010 is on the models a small sign, which looks like a clock, there you can see the month of production. |

| If you do a search for Schleich 2011,there is a site which specifies some new rules the company must respect next year: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The company already provides the message “WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD--Small parts. Not intended for children under 3 yrs” on boxed sets. What if new laws will force Schleich to adopt a secondary tag on the solo figurines whitout wrapping?Papo already has one for each of their figurines(tied to golden elastic band). PS:Why does Schleich need to provide the adress on the animals, since their tags already comtain it?! |

Maybe because most tags are thrown away. |

| It is cute Is it collecta ? He, he, if some baby chokes on it, it will not help alot if you have the address of the manufacturer, you need a doctor !!! I could understand if we talked about chemicals or stuff, where the hospital needs to be able to get in contact with the manuf. to know how to treat the patient. This is ridiculous, really Unfortunately ot so unusual when laws are made too fast ! |

Hi Roger, Collecta isn´t an european brand. Collecta is a trademark from Procon (Asia) Ltd. from Hong Kong. |

| [quote="SUSANNE"]It is cute Is it collecta ? Yes, it's the yorkshire from CollectA. The head has a lighter colouring. Sorry my pics are very bad! Collecta isn´t an european brand. Collecta is a trademark from Procon (Asia) Ltd. from Hong Kong. I know it Torben but they work with European safety regulamentation! And this branch is located at United Kingdom. So I think that nothing changes.. Bugatti is not from Germany or is it? Anyway you're right!!! It's a brand from Hong Kong that works with the same regulamentation of Schleich! |

| WOW! The black panther and the lion growling ? Sorry, sorry sorry... I am sure the products have to follow the law of the country where it is sold. But EU law can be interpreted. F.Inst. Here we have to pay a fortune for a vet certificate to buy worming medicine for pets. According to EU-law , they say. So everybody buy it on the net from other EU-countries, where they interpret the law in another way. Schleich seems to go all the way in order to be safe. What a pity ! |

| [quote="SUSANNE"]WOW! The black panther and the lion growling ? Sorry, sorry sorry... No Susane, I'm not growling, and off course Torben is not too. And Torben is absolutly right about the country. Torben has a knowlege about figurines much more developed than mine! But sometimes I'm not able to explain some things because it's hard to a portuguese lion speak english! I'll try to choose a different avatard because I love everybody in this forum and I don't want that someone is thinking that I'm roaring. :) :) |

| Actually it is a good subject. I find it extremely difficult to be polite in foreign language. The word "please" or "bitte" does not exist in Danish. We use body language and smiles to express it, - and we do not have that possibility on mail. Maybe that is why Danes are so fond of Smilies ? There are only app 5 millions who speak Danish.
Both of you are being polite just to write in English, I think. You both have very good and widespread languages but use this, so we can all understand.
Goddaw do, moin, kærlig hilsen Susanne |

| I hope all of those regulations don't make the models into little books in the future, with all of that stuff written on them... Haha, those carbrands... Ferrari is owned by Fiat, and Bugatti and Rolls Royce by Volkswagen, same as the Scania company, for which i work right now, same for MAN Trucks, Seat and Skoda. All combined in the VAG group(Volskwagen and Audi group). Mini owned by BMW, as BMW bought Rover for a while, and only kept the Mini after selling Rover again. We can go on like this for some time... |
