Hey all, this is my collection. It's a small collection Each animal has been chosen carefully, and I love them all, each one is special in some way, to me [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Lusitano, Friser Stallion, Quarter are absolutely handsome, and they go so nicely together I think. They're like princes! The Tinker stallion, he's more of a worker. Tennesee stallion, elegant, and the only one with "Made in Germany" under his belly. All the rest are chinese. I wonder how to find those made in Germany? He was a coincidence, since I didn't know they were produced in Germany also, when I bought him [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I love the calm expression of the Clydesdale Stallion. My Haflinger Mare I bought very recently, I always wanted her, and then I heard rumours she'll be retired, I rushed out and found one for me. I love her being much smaller than the rest, and her face is so cute, I fell instantly! The Tinker lady was my first Schleich Horse along with the Hanoverian Mare. The Andalusian Stallion peeks behind the others, he seems a bit shy [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]My Lipizzaner Mare is the only lucky one who's got a foal, so far Hanoverian Stallion is somehow a calm and unnoticed one, but I fell for him nevertheless. And my favorite: Percheron Stallion. I hunted him for ages, went from store to store, because he was retired, and finally I found him in a bookshop, where they were selling out, so I was lucky! He is very special Friser girl, she's just beautiful, with her flowing hair and lovely expression! Oh, and Black Forest lady.. I dare call her alluring! I mean, look at her, that expression! And the rest are the heavy oldies: Shires and Clydesdale Mare. They've got their own special charm. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The riders [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]At last, I have a few from the wildlife. The delicious Leopard, she has such an amazing face. The noble lion family. Papo Cheetah, I was so lucky to find her, since I've never seen Papo around before. Unfortunately the store is closed now... As a child, I was absolutely obsessed with cheetahs. The tapir I bought at a visit in the Zoo's souvenir shop, as a memory of that lovely day at the zoo. The Polar Bear lady adopted the CollectA cub.. Was also by accident, so to speak, I found a place with a few CollectA figurines. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

You have a beautiful collection! Horses are very nice and I think the Papo cheetah, that I love a lot, was the first figure I bought for me. So, when this cheetah joined my niece rejected Schleich figures, my collection was much smaller than yours.

Thank you all for taking a look Will update ofcourse, when new ones arrive. Lara in this case, stands as an ally with the animals, I bet she has a heart too. And imagine, to her they're pygmy versions when comparing the sizes, so they could all be pets I have thought of getting a T-Rex for Lara... I like the movable jaw one, saw it in real life, and thought it worked quite well. Except the choise of paint could have been different, in my opinion that is. I loved dinos as a kid, especially the rexes, so I was quite tempted to buy it... Uh, I will have to think about it.. T-Rex

| Hey all A few days ago, I went to a store i heard had Schleich to check out if they had something to surprise me, compared to the other retailers where i usually go. And ofourse I was curious if they may have gotten the new 2013 models. Well.. I know that's naiive, and that proved right, no new ones Still I bought four new members for the herd Here's my updated display: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]First, I found a Palomino.. I've been thinking of him for quite some time, ans like with the haflinger mare goes retired, Palo does too, so he had to be saved for my shelf! He looks nothing like an alphamale and more like a kind follower, who's a friend with everyone. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Oooooh, and then I saw - The Przewalski !! Very strange, but very lucky for me. They had several, but was like they were taken back from the shadows, forgotten and hurt. They all had quite many rubs on them, but they were new, with the Schleich tag and all. So I found a lady for me, with not too many rubs. I love her very much already. Incredibly charming little hose, standing out from the crowd, with her black line and hey - the only one with no horseshoes She's the the free spirit of the herd. (Besdies that, they had also other oldies, like the Percheron mare, old Camargue mare and rearing white mustang. But they all had many rubs.) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then I thought my Tennesse Stallion should have a girlfriend. So be it then She has quite a passive stance and a lovely warm expression. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And the last one: the Dartmoor Stallion. Just as small as the Przewalski. He's got such a.. feminine look, I think. Beautiful! | Thank you very much Álvaro I have several Tomb Raider, videogame, movie and comic figurines, but I have only my absolute favorites on display. It was in my teens I collected those kinds of figures. I no longer do, except if something REALLY spectacular shows up. That Lara Croft was my very first figurine of all time collecting wise. Before that, I was so young they were still toys I'm now dedicated to the world of nature instead |

I went to the store, again, looking for the new 2013 models, and saw none there, but, again, I was seduced by some of the existing ones. First I found my very first - Made in Portugal! I first fell for her this very day.. once I swore never to get that model, because I didn't like the braids.. but the rest of her is so very fine, and I must say, the Portuguese version here has a more deep, clear and defined paint than the Chinese versions standing beside it. There was only this one from Portugal, and it was very interesting for me to finally get the opportunity to 'compare countries'. Andalusian Mare, welcome in the club of my beloved selections [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then the Icelandic Stallion. I've been to Island once, a few years ago. Nice place I will recommend. There's something strange and slightly magical about Iceland. My second pony... I think.. unless haflingers are ponies too? Not a horse expert at all [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then the cute Badger. I like him because he's a local species. So I've been told that is! Never seen one, and I even run through the forest several times a week Ooh, badger, are you just a dream? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And since I've been moving, and my display is still under development, I found this old Mini Panda. I think I might have bought her as a souvenir or something once... Not sure. Can't even tell the brand [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Congratulations Carola! An Andalusian made in Portugal can be called a Lusitano! The 2 breeds are almost the same, Lusitanos are more or less Portuguese Andalusians or Andalusians are almost Spanish Lusitanos. You even can use the Schleich foal easily to both, unfortunately the real Schleich Lusitano doesn't have a mare. I like the badger, unfortunately, mine, has the claws deeply white like a hog badger, your doesn-t look so heavily marked, anyway they shouldn-t paint them white for an Euroasian badger. The sculpting is really nice as well the grizzled effect on back.

Thanks Roger, and now I know a little more about my new mini horse Maybe she can act girlfriend to my Lusitano, but then there'll be another Andalusian guy who gets mad. .. Ooh, they should just make a new lady for the Lusitano And yes, the details of the badger are very neat, especially with such a small figurine. Thanks for noticing, Sumo, and Kikimalou for fixing it :) I don't know what went wrong. I use Imageschack for my pictures, but if you got a better place more suitable for this forum, please let me know I'll fix the sizes for the future
