Animals made in 3D by miniNature

I use a two part liquid resin that is very inexpensive, it will cost me only a few U.S.D. to fill the figure. It is not good for casting a figure or for detail but for this it will be perfect.

I will take a series of pictures from filling her to painting her for everyone to see.

The 1/32 Watusi is now available on my site Michel.  It's about as expensive as the 1/22 Watusi, because this model can only be available in the most expensive (and most detailed) plastic. I'm not sure if the model meets the requirments of Shapeways. For example the the nipples are 'free wires' for Shapeways and can be 0,8 mm max. They are just not that thick, but they are only 1 mm long, so maybe they will see it as embossed detail, so than it will be alright. We can see it if they reject or accept the order. When they will reject I can easily make them thicker, but it' more beautifull ofcourse when they stay in more correct size.

I love seeing this herd come together! Did you make them all using the same sculpt (is "sculpt" the right word?), or do start from the beginning for each one?

Yes, except from the calf I used the same basic model for each watusi. I can make the sculpture more or less thick and move the bodyparts and give them different details, so every model will be different  

The second Watusi (the Juvenile) is available on my site.  The other cows will be soon there also

Great poses on your watusi, nice that you included both models in one set. I like how there is a connection between the two figures with the mother watching her calf.

I like that mother & calf pair very, very much; enough to seriously consider purchasing one, despite my reservations for the 3D-printed models (I'm none too keen on the surface finish they seem to often get, that's all). Really lovely!

I'm also pleased to see you aren't making your Watusis deathly thin, even if they oft are on the skinny side in photographs of the African herds.
