retired items questions... Empty
PostSubject: retired items questions...   retired items questions... EmptySun Jan 06, 2013 8:10 am

So I had a few questions for you guys who shop from TGF toys. (And I apologize in advance if these are stupid question... Embarassed ) Most of these questions are because I am not as familiar with these brands older figures as I should be.
1. I used to be able to find the blue Gnu from bullyland, and was hoping to finally buy it soon, butit seems to have disappeared. I don't know if this because it is no longer available ( Sad ) or if they moved it somewhere that I cant find it.
2. Bullyland has two chamois, a new one, and seemingly older one (for different prices) but the look the same, so are these truly different figures? are they the same or did TGF get a wrong pic for one of them?
3. I also used to be able to find the older black and white holstein alf and the jersey calf and now cant seem to find them, so same question as the gnu.
4. And lastly, in the retired Schleich section they have a kangaroo that looks like the newer one, and wondered is this a retired one also or just a misplaced/ wrong pictured item?
Thank you for any help and I would love links to other websites with these items on them, or if you can find these on TGF a link would be much appreciated.
Thanks for any help!

- The gnu was retired several years ago. They must have sold the last one...sorry Crying or Very sad

- The "new" shamois 2012 is exactly the same mould. It was retired for some years, and then they launched it a a new model...shame on you, Bullyland Evil or Very Mad

- Which brand ????

- the retired kangoo is 14174 from 01 - 08.

- Look at the paws, - but they are very similar.
I`ll see if I can squeeze a comparing picture out f my camera scratch

Thank you so much for those pics Susanne! The third question was for the older safari ltd. calves, sorry, I guess I got excited and forgot to mention that. I can see now that those kangaroos are different, but the picture they had was small and blurry, and sometimes the company that makes the animal somehow reverses the pic so it looks like the animal is "facing" a different way than the actual figure, so that was why I asked, and again thanks.
So would you say that the older or newer chamois is a better figure? the older one is more expensive... And lastly, dangit, I wanted that gnu, I got a little excited when I saw that safari was coming out with some too and wanted to compare them, but its my fault, I should have ordered him sooner. Oh well, thats a collector's life's story isn't it? That just means I have another figure to go and find.
Thanks so much Susanne for your help. Very Happy
