VASILIS COLLECTIONS (new photos 11/02/2013 page 6)

Hi to all you STS Forum friends!!!
It is nice to have my own topic and share with you my collections.
As I mentioned earlier, I started to collect animation figures (which was something that I liked doing from a very young age), nine years ago. I started with Disney figures from Deagostini. Then, I started collecting Bullyland Disney figures, after that came the Plastoy figures (Asterix, Lucky Luke and their friends) and then I discovered Schlech Smurfs which I love!!!
Unfortunately, in the shops next to the smurfs there were the knights and next to them the animal figures...
That was it!!!
I started collecting Schleich figures such as knights, castles, Indians, cowboys, Arabs, farm animals and wild horses. When I left from my island I discovered Papo and Collecta figures!!!
That's how I started to buy the mutant series, mythical figures and dinosaurs from Papo...
When I returned to my island the shops which were selling these figures were closing down due to the economical hardship of the country!!! So I cannot see the figures in the shop windows and on the shelves so that I can touch them and choose from all the series the ones that I really like best.
Luckily, I discovered the STS Forum where you all share the photos of your collections and your feelings with all of us!!! I feel very lucky as there are people who love cute, small figures.
I would like to post photos from all my collections (not only animals).
GUYS I am Vasilis and I am addicted to collecting figures!!!

Vasilis, I like the magical touch you give to your pictures! Everything looks so nice!
Many toy shops are also closing here because of the same reason, it means that when this bad cycle is finished, a lot of new toy shops will open!

Fortunately I don`t have the proiblem with toy shops closing down, because there never really were any here
I hope the net-shops keep alive, - well if they don`t, we probably will be so far out that there won`t be any made to buy anyway

Vasilis, this is absolutly amasing and very well done. Surely I feel I was visiting the Alps and not any volcano from Greece! That is a Cycladistic presentation and Heidy figures are really great!
I have no doubts you love what you collect and that you get perfectly the "perffume" of any single figure you own. Thanks for sharing!

I would like to upload some photos with Greek Scenery so that you can have a much better "perfume" of Greece but unfortunately, I think that my collection of animals doesn't match with the Greek Scenery so well...

They are sooo adorable Vasilis! Do you make the accessories in inside the houses yourself, they are fantastic!?

Some of the accesories I made myself with wood, plaster and "fimo".
I have also made all the pots that have flowers in them and the little blue stools, the oven, the steps, the door and windows and many items in the kitchen!!! I bought the rest...
I have made miniature boxes of the garden and the kitchen of a traditional house of Symi island in Greece.
Symi is the island where my grandparents lived...
