No they are not from polybags. most, if not all of them came in nature tubes.
Does anyone know why none of the main companies have made a weasel? Shocked

Thanks! :)
Maybe there are many weasel species and even other mustelides that ressembles it... maybe! Suspect
Well, not known as a weasel but from the same genus, retired in 2009, you have a Schleich ferret under pets series...

Sergey, I hope my measurements will not shock anybody!
Using only shoulder of Papo lioness and length of aardvark we can have 2 figures of 1:15 scale! So see, the Papo lioness is 6 cm high, it represents a female of 90 cm at shoulder in 1:15 scale, a large female. The aardvark with tail has slightly more than 13 cm, it represents about 2 m in length, an aardvark as about 1 and 1,3 m length more a tail of about 70 cm, so arround 2 m. In 1:15 scale often used for Safari you can play with these 2 figures.
I don't have the Schleich lioness but I'm sure she is to small!

Kiki, foxes are regarded as a number in brand ranges, only a mandatory figure!
It looks that brands are not devoting particular atention to the figure even they always include it in their ranges!
About my Safari fox, this exemplar is not carefully painted as you can see. The eyes are slightly better than it looks in the picture with the flas but pupils are different and that's not nice.
Eyes should be oblong and oblique in the face, the dark patch is too dropped verticaly and lacrimal patch is absent. It doesn't help to turn the figure with the characteristic fox appearance. The body is painted like a flag, we se exactly when a color is gives place to another and it works fantastic in some species like a zebra but not in a fox where the transition of the colors of the coat are smoother! Also the texture is not excelent and for those who cares with size, it is a very large red fox, the largest I own! The pose is clearly a correction from the hardly balanced older version but honestly the running Safari fox has a fantastic pose and paws! Maybe someone has a better painted version of this fox to show you, the layout of colours is theorically correct but roughly painted.
As you also know there are many subspecies of foxes and the patterns are slightly different as some morphological details, I'm sure this is a North American furry subspecies. cat
Oops, to long and with a weird English I hope you understand! :)
About the aardvark I'm sure that those you saw in Antwerp Zoo are larger than mine! Wink
