I like the halflinger a lot too, though I don't have her in my collection unfortunately.
The Clydesdales are lovely too   The PS chips always seem to have a lot of dignity

Congratulations Carola! I love the Stone. I think the cost with the Breyers is because of the injection molds, which are very expensive.

I must say I wanted to buy that breyer haflinger for some time, But then I forgot about her on my wishlist! After seeing your pictures, She is on my wishlist again! ^^ She looks so similair to a haflinger horse I train for Natutal horsemanship on a farm where I work:

Thank you, Anna   Yes, I found also the Haflinger to be one of the best I could find. Seems it is the only Eberl Classic mould, along with the foal. I hope she will make more in the future

Thank you, Susanne   MPV still has a set of 4 Stone Chips . And one VERY expensive Clyde Special paint. For aome reason they also had a single Clyde from the set of four. And he is mine now   

Shame with the Stablemates you got can't keep balance.. Some of mine sure are sensitive to shaky ground, but in the cabinet they are safe and don't fall over. I guess certain mould do have problems..

Thank you, yes, I'm very happy with these new models, and the discovery of Breyer. I will certainly recommend the Classic Haflinger   
And yes, the Stone Clyde does have some similarities to our CollectA Friesian in stance and grace - and colour

Thank you 4U   I did not know about that method, but very interesting! Also, if the Breyers had to be massive, they'd be crazy heavy I think

Hi all   

During another mission I came across a TRU, as I wanted to look for the new 2014 Schleich.
They had almost all of them. And ofcours I had most interest in the horses. There were all except the Arabian Mare.

All were Made in China versions. Was very interesting to see the Chinese versions. I have a German Fjord, and the painwork on the Chinese Fjord, I think, was a lot less appealing and sharp.

Generally none of them appealed to me. I had a good eye on the Trakehner mare, but seeing her in real life, just proved how weird her head is   I loved her colour.. but ugh! The head is completely off. She and the family were very fine in size though, and are nice in texure and such.. but the sculpting is a killer   

And like 4U once said.. the Friesian Mare, she does look like a dragon! I think.

ANYWAY... I did get away with something ...

For some unknown reason they had ONE single lonely Percheron Stallion - and I was just WOW   My favorite ( - RETIRED - ) model! And he looked somehow different than the one I already have.... I looked at his belly - and it said - Made in Germany   YESS! I must save him now!

They also had a few of the retired Haflinger Gelding. I'd been thinking of him for a long time, and now I decided to get him, before he is gone forever. He is even Made in Germany.

Very good old mould. Paintwork is clearly less detailed than newer Schleich. The little 'wheel' on his belly says he was made in 2012, but Schleich seem not to update paintwork.

And then I did get a single one of the new ones - the Pot Bellied Pig which is equally rediculously awesome and adorable   (Made in China version)

Dirty Old Stud   Feels at home swiftly. (This also pictures what I find the worst and best in all of Schleich history...   )

Congrats Carola! TRU was probably sold out of the Arabian mare from all the little girls that like pink bows.

Congrates a lot with your new additions, specially the Germany-Percheron! He is my favorite too, but I have only the China version.
Good you saved him from beeing lonely in the shop shelves.

I confess Percheron is very beautiful! I believe it seemed a masterpiece among newer Schleich horses. :)
The Hafling is also an interesting piece, much nicer also then newer ones. Are you sure it is marked that it was made in 2012? I can't find any online source explaining this sign. I thought it was the month of production instead.

Really nice newcomers!   The Percheron Stallion is one of my all time favourites by schleich too!

Karin - the pig really is fantastic, I hope you decide to get her(it is a girl, apparently   )

Roger - here is a photo of the 'wheel', with the year of production in the middle, in this case 12(2012) and the arrow pointing at the month, in this case 2(february). Sometimes it can be difficult to see, and maybe on this one it is not 12 but 11 - I can't quite see it     

They are to be found on most Schleich horses, bu I have also seen them on some Papo horses. They are probably also on several other non horse models, I'm not sure.

I think it is a cool detail and information telling me when thie particular single model was made.

I have some older Schleich where it is not present though.

(My boyfriend told me about this function, as he knows it from his work)

That Percheron is a very nice Schleich indeed! And that pig... I, too, have to get him now. Sweet additions!
