Woolly Rhinoceros 1997 Safari Ltd Missing Link

Talking about a holy grail  
At long last i talked Pam ( Seijun) into parting with her extra Safari wooly rhino  
Thankyou, Pam ! Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou THANKYOU

He arrived this morning, accompanied with a lovely, tiny, little friend

The impala, I am sure, gave a sigh of relief, and now his job was done, and the rhino is my responsibility, he hurried to the shelf with other Starlux-critters ! There he will be safe  
But Rhino and the great cousin from Papo ( and from Christophe   ) began to snort and hum together.
Aren`t they cute ?

It took a while, but at last Rhino aggreed to pose for the camera.
It wasn`t easy, he is not a quiet critter, but - here he is

Now my great hope is to be able to find the adult Mammoth ....well, perhaps , some day

Wow, I don't seriously collect dinos or prehistoric animals but wow! Great new addition.

Very impressive figure!
The Papo wooly looks beautiful and is very detailed,
but Mr. Safari has a far more imposing presence with the lifted head and the opened mouth.
You can almost hear him roar! (o)):

The mouth looks very human. I am not positive, but I though that rhinos only had teeth in the back of their mouth. Great model though. Good job that you got it.
