It means it is much smaller than 1/32. When a scale is presented in mm unite, it means that the figure fits with a human figure 25mm tall. Or 2,5 cm if you like best. 1/32 scale is also known as 54mm scale. So figures fit with a 5,4 cm tall human figure. |

Too bad. 1:32 models seem to be relatively hard to find _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

Nicely done M?(we are used to put our name under the treads, so everybody here knows how to call you by name). Did you use the AH WWF series macaws for these models, because this is the only one in this size... |

| The material i made the walls from is thick paper one can buy (in Holland and Germany at least) in shops where you can buy material for railroad-hobby. The round corner in the top is where i bend the paper: i bend it over/on thick paper and glued it on to each other. In this way, the wall has (in 1/32) the thickness of 1 stone. The other Macaws i painted have different "housing" as you can see here (it is a Ara ararauna): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The Hyacinth Macaw is not ready, i will post a picture as soon as i finished it. The miniature Zoo i am building is an old-style Zoo, i think it is nostalgic. Maybe not like the Zoos we see nowadays, but thankfully the 1/32 animals don't complain... The goal is to make a sort of "Parrotlane" with 3 of these Macawstandings on 1 side and on the other side of the lane 3 small avaries with other species of Parrots (i allready painted 1 African Grey for this). At the end of the lane one walks towards the housing i posted earlier (with the Militaris and Macao). |
