How's the best way to strip figure of black paint(because brown paint to light to cover black)? Thank you very much :). First you need a good color, but even with such, it will not cover most of the first coat. So you have to at least two or even three color coats. But please do not to apply the paint too thick, otherwise the skin loses structure. I hope I could help. BG |

| Not sure if keep putting coats of paint on it will work(plus will make bear's coat(the structure, detail, texture) look funny, as you said? But thanks! May try bleaching the figure? |

| What a fantastic model again Ralf! Why do you tease my friend Christophe so much? It must be his favourite animal in the world in think... What basic model did you use this time, to make this great river hog? And can i reserve one of these hogs too Ralf? _________________ http://www.collectorsquest.com/collector/1313/willybacoman

| Great job Ralf, I love that figure and even though it does not come from South Africa (so I can't use it on my diorama) I love these hogs. Harriet, I love the new avitar, that is a beautiful painting. I may have to commision you to paint my diorama background when I build the case, I need an Indian rain forest painted with a grey stormy sky and a sunny day on the savanna and scrub forest for Africa |

| Nice model! How big(inches long and inches high)? Only one recommendation, just a little lighter "orangey" color, as well as not using glossy paint. I see red river hogs at the zoo and they don't have a shiny coat. Other than that , you did an excellent job! |

Other than that , you did an excellent job! Thank you baltimore zoo. The painted model is the original model, of which I have produced the mold. The glossy coat was created by the applied dividing wax, actually it is much brighter and more matt (see pictures earlier in the topic)! BG |
