Some new Bullylands for 2013 :-)

Today I got a wonderful box full of new goodies

My back is punishing me for carrying some sacks of horse pellets yesterday, but here are pictures of some of them

First, - for Martien ( and others, of course) , the Smilodon and the Machairodus, - nobody can call THEM cute

Here we have the new shepherd and his dog.
The dog is an Australian shepdog. It could have been great if it had been one of the smaller sennen-dogs. But perhaps they are not good shepherd dogs ?
Well, this Aussie has the same colours as the various Sennenhunde


There is also a new farmer this year. His name is ..... ANDREAS


The outfit of the shepherd is beautyful. I think the artist is the same who made the Inuits and Falconer etc..

Can you make some comparison shots of the Schleich & Bullyland Peacocks and Pelicans, please?

Great new additions! I especially love the pot belly and the Rhodesian. He doesn't really have a dominant ridge, but you can tell that there is kinda a small one on his back. Congrats!

Yes, the peacock has semi translucent feathers, but not as translucent as the one from Schleich.
What I like is that the "tail-fan" is more translucent near the tips.

Unfortunately the vincent isn`t available yet.
As far as I know, he will probably not be made untill June-July

I like the new Bully ibex - I just added this one to my wishlist :)

Once again great new additions! You added so many to list now, especially those zebras, panda cub, ibex, marmot and a few more! Congrats!

So many new additions. I like the Ibex and Pot-bellied Pig a lot! And the adult Zebra and Panda also look fine, but why do they keep making such horrible big cats??

Yes ! And with very few exceptions, they always did

How nice from you after a hard day working, taking such nice pictures to show to us the new Bullyland figures.
Pictures with very beautiful light and all details are clear.
Almost all figures are very rich in texture, unless it looks on your pictures. Zebra fur gives a great effect on strips and on panda it looks very nice.
The ibex is surprisingly elegant, I like the pose a lot, mainly from the angle with the human figure riding. It almost looks one of these fantasy figures but with a great looking animal.
The marmote also looks updated and without the vintage style of previous.
Pelican is not huge, I like that it is not smoking but I love to see the feet of birds.
Well, as a negative point, lions look really poor figures. Lion figures are absolutly nuclear. Bullyland needs to give more realism to them in future releases.
Lizard is full of tension, I like it.
However, my favorite is Andreas, I think it is not a farmer but a collector trying to find some dinosaur bones in Dresden!

I guess those one could reach the march SUY. What kind of drugs were using sabertooths ? Maybe it was the reason of their extinction ?



I'm very pleased to see the comparison pics between SCHLEICH and BULLYLAND birds. I can't say I'm seduced by the 2013 BULLY pelican, too "static" for my taste.

On the other hand, the BULLYLAND peacock is very exciting, a very good news. (o)): First when I saw pics of the SCHLEICH one on STS, I tought the transparent feathers was a very good idea, even if the painting was so so. Then I discovered it in a shop and changed my mind, the idea was still a good idea but the model was very cheaply made, poorly painted and the tail lack the minimum of patterns.
It is nice to see the same idea by BULLYLAND with IMHO a better model and a tail with patterns (o)): I will go for it

The frilled lizard is interesting too, not as fantastic as the S&N but fine
