Schleich wishes for 2014

Pourquoi pas un ours noir ou un ours lippu.
Avant tout une Hyène ou une famille de Hyène serait bienvenue.
Mon souhait serait de voir arrivé une famille de Lycaons avec plusieurs espèces d'antilope ( Bubale,Topi,Oryx,Cobe à croissant,Impalas,Antilope Sable, Springbok,Guib,Eland de derby................................................et beaucoup d'autres.

Yes, more antelopes!
I would also like more cattle, wild, and domesticated.
New Holstien, Hereford, *water buffalo* , new yak, English longhorn, and Santa Gertrudis.

I'm pretty sure Schleich will never produce a Musk ox or any species of Antelope or other"unknown"animals again-these times are in the apsta nd defenitely over.Nobody of their main customers-children-will buy a Duiker, a Mountain nyala, a Bongo, a gaur etc., only collectors like us, so no Chance for sloth bear, clouded Leopard, shoebill, cassowary or other of animals we would like to see-I gurantee it.But we have Collecta and Mojö-so i don't care if Schleich will do them or not.

Schleich is the most comercial brand of them all,they don't care about what collectors want-so I think, they will procuce in the future only spcies which are known to the main customers-lions and tiges, brwon and polar bears, apes, more penguins, sealions, giraffes and Zebras, and of course horses and cute kittens and cats, rabbits and ugly cute-like horses....This is Schleichs Reality now...

Sorry if if I have to destroy all your Hopes. I have them burried them since last year...

Wonders CAN happen-but not with Schleich.

Schleich has produced a great Musk Ox in the past-it is the best animal figure they ever have produced, but of Course it wasn't a big seller, so it dissappeared quickly and I sure you, they won't do another Musk Ox again in the future.

Je pense qu'ils vont continuer dans ce sens encore quelques temps, puis dès qu'ils auront épuisé cette ressource ils devraient commencer à produire des nouveaux modèles moins connus des enfants comme le font actuellement Mojo Fun et Collecta.

Pour les prochaines années en suppément des modèles classiques qui seront refaits tel que les tigres, les lions, le chameau, le bison, les loups, les guépards ou les girafes nous pouvons croire que les modèles suivant sortirons:

I don't like it, but by the looks of the past few years, it looks like what you say is going to be true. I fear that we are going to see more common animals like elephants, giraffes, and as you already mentioned, horses and cats going more from realistic to cartoonish and like barbies. But we still have all of these other brands providing us with amazing models, so I guess we should stay positive and not complain. :)

All hopes are allowed because they were the first to come out of baboons, a giant anteater, an Armadillo, a Jackal, a bearded Agama, a Yak, a Komodo dragon, beef-musky and many others as polar foxes not necessarily known by children.
All species cited above it are not very well known or very attractive models for children and they were still produced by Schleich.
Certainly they did not stay very long in the catalog but they have the merit to be included in the ci for 1 or 2 years.
Since some time Schleich renew models such as elephants, chimpanzees, Tigers, bears, panda, lions, kangaroos and zebras which remain permanently in the catalogue then they do reappear models that they had released their catalog several years such as Warthogs, the Black Panther, the vulture, the Pelican, the Beaver, the kudu, African Buffalo, the Stork, the Koala...
I think that they will continue in this direction again some time, and then once they have exhausted this resource they should start to produce new lesser-known models of children as currently do Mojo Fun and collected.

For the next years in supplement of the classic models which will be redone as Tigers, lions, camels, bison, wolves, cheetahs or giraffes we can believe that the following models will emerge:
PUMA
Alligator
Hyena
Jackal
Orangutan
Okapi
Baboons
Reindeer
Lama
Indian Rhinoceros
Dromedary
Giant anteater
Armadillo
Mountain goat
Chamois

Looks nice-but my bet is, not only one of these species, with the exception of the White stork and teh Peacock, Schleich has them arleady,, will produced by Schleich within the next ten years...So don't Count on them...

So from my Point of view,when it Comes to Schleich, Wishing lists are a senselese and a waste of time.

I think Schleich MUST make other animals, because the children must know also other animals, not a girffe an elephant and an hippo, on the earth are many others interesting animals.

Yes I know! Schleich 2014 must already be in production, or decided!

I think the most likely is the reindeer, the Hare family Mandril?, Or Gibon?
I hope a family can be Jackal! or a snow leopard ----- the rest

And i think a european animal serie would be good for this, with animals like great bustard or a european polecat or hoopoe..

I think Schleich have many european animal but some more european animals are very welcome and an european wildcat.

Let me only tell you that there is a long history of toy animal replicas before Schleich and all of these species were released much before Schleich starting their animal range. You can find much more diversity in an old French brand like Starlux, just an example. Even Arctic foxes, were not an original idea from Schleich, you can find them among modern brands like Safari or AAA that released them before. But, The Schleich of 10 years ago was really a much more interesting brand that it is now. It explains why the brand has a lot of collectors. I hope the brand can be back to these golden days and can show us some interesting animals. I also want that this fantasied and childish taste that the brand is showing now could be changed to a more realistic and scientifically accurate style.

They must not-Schleich isn't doing Toy Animals for the Education of children-they do it to make Money.

Unfortunately, all kinds of"special" species like Antelopes,Musk Ox,tapir etc.were not good sellers-it costs the Company a lot of Money to produce them, an then, nobody only a few people and collectors are buy them...That's not the way how to get in a lot of Money...So this the reason, why all theses unknown species were retired just a couple of years, see the new Kudu,the Gazelles or the Gnus and the yak-gone after two or three years...And what was coming for them ?

Brown Bears, Polar Bears, Black panther,Parrots, a new penguin species,chimpanzee Family, new cats,playing kittens, cute rabbit babies, a White rabbit ( nobody know it is a wild species-nut it don't cares-people buy it, because it is a cute Little rabbit...)So guess,why the new horses have this new, ugly look ?

I'm sure, Schleich will bring out a new rhino,new tigers and lions, a black panther cub, a new panda cub,more penguins,mabye also, with luck, a new Orang Utan Family,of course new and more merkats will come,maybe otter cubs-all animals, which are guranteed big sellers. So no hope for antelopes anymore-not from Schleich.

There is one item on a wish list which may prove to be more than a waste of time - new ownership. Unless and until that occurs, Schleich will
continue in its current moribund state.

@Bongo: Schleich can "survive" only with pinguins, lio.s, tiger and all the others that you have listet, can that be so 200 figures?
