It looks CollectA found inspiration in their own logo!
Maybe the tortoise is not feeling so confortable in such a small carapasse.
What I like best in that figure is that there is a lot of tortoise in this tortoise.

is the Schleich Giant tortoise the Desert tortoise?
is the Collecta Loggerhead and Schleich Sea turtle the Caretta caretta?

I'm not an expert of giant tortoise (i have three little Hermanni) but the Schleich ones seems to me not desert tortoises but one of the many subspecies of giant tortoises , some very different one from the other ...here you can see a link :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subspecies_of_Gal%C3%A1pagos_tortoise
The old Scleich one represents a stereotype tortoise..it resembles a desert tortoise but i cannot be sure.

The two sea turtle could be both Caretta Caretta..i observed there are specimens with a ridge on the shell..there are many variation but all are Caretta Caretta..

I just bought this figure and i'm eager to receive it...i received today my first CollectA figure and i'm very happy with it:the Asian Elephant Calf...love the detail and the care of the reproduction..i kn ow i must sound a bit off topic but what's the best figure made by CollectA?

I'm one collector, and I have 11 answers. (Well, if not 11, definitely not just one.) My favorites are the Giant Eland, the Waterbuck, the Striped Hyena, the Reticulated Giraffe, the Saola, and Baird's Tapirs (both mom and calf). The Blackbuck and Gnu are good too.

I am still so much in love with the good, old spoonbills

I really ike the sea lion(it's a not a special specie but the CollectA one is amazing), the manatee (female, the othe ones I don't have yet), the saola and I think maybe the jackal is my favourite, I don't have him yet, but on pictures he looks amazing.
