Hi All! I came across some Club Earth Birds in great condition, still in their box! Apparently, Club Earth started as a separate company and became part of Play Visions…? Anyways, the figures are different from play visions molds (compare the major Mitchell’s cockatoos). They are excellently painted, and there are one or two more unusual species included…. The figures came in a small plastic “suitcase”… Titled “6 Birds to Go, from Club Earth”. And here are the birds! The “toucan” is really excellent, the best miniature one I have seen yet. The vulture is perhaps my least favorite, he seems too light coloured and they should have specified what kind of vulture! Still, I like this one a lot “Hyacinth Macaw”. No bird set is complete without a parrot! The “Major Mitchell's Cockatoo”…I love this bird just for the colours, and figures of Australian animals are always cool. My absolute favorite from the set…a “Scarlet Ibis”! Ibises happen to be some of my favorite birds, I think I like their shape. There are not many Ibis figures around, and this brilliant red one is really stunning. And a “Pelican”. It is interesting that they chose a Brown pelican (almost all pelicans are white), but I think it makes for a more interesting model. The hand painted colours are totally accurate too. The paint jobs and sculpting details on all of these are excellent, up to Play Vision standards. Looking at the tag, it shows some birds that were not in this particular box…there must be some more out there! Maybe the boxes came with random assortments of 6? If anyone has other Club Earth birds, please post some pics! P

Interesting sets. I didn't know about them. I hope someone have more to show! I like really the figures here represented and I still miss an Ibis in my collection. I hope a major brand can release one of these wonderful birds soon. I also enjoy the choice of a brown pelican, it looks they are not very atractive commercially as long as Safari and Schleich included them in their ranges for a short time, though, those are wonderful birds.

Well, I am glad that these are getting so much good attention! If I come across any more I will be sure to mention it...They were originally purchased many years ago in a toy shop in my hometown. I scanned the tag, to help anyone recognize: As you can see, there must also be a kingfisher, a puffin, and a scarlet macaw....and who knows what else!

Indeed the shapes look like Nayab ones - but the painting is so much better! They look awesome - congrats to such a wonderful set. I hope you're able to complete the set. And the package itself is great, too!

Arominger, I have tried to send you a PM but it wouldn't go through. I see that you are looking for the club earth ibis. sadly I do not have this figure. I do have the sun conure parrot from this series. it is a very nice beautiful and super rare figure. I will happily trade mine to you in exchange for the K&M proboscis monkey and K&M golden lion tamarin. I am trying to complete the K&M primate series. you can pm me to accept this trade or not.

| Great additions, for being so small they do have some great details! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs.
