Sorry Andreas, the draft
horses did win!
Draft horse, ( a.k.a. draught
horses and heavy
horses) are a type of horse with a heavier build, used for logging, harness, recreation, and showing. These
horses are known for their very muscular build and tall height, ranging between 16-19 hands and weighing 1,400 to 2,000 pounds.
Some examples of draft breeds are as follows:
Ardennes
Auxois
Boulonnais
Brabant
Breton
Clydesdale
Comtois
Dole Gusbrandsdal
Dutch Heavy Draft
Freiberger
Irish Draft
Italian Heavy Draft
Jutland
Latvian Harness Horse
Lithuanian Heavy Draft
Muräkozi
Noriker
Normandy Cob
North Swedish Horse
Percheron
Poitevin
Rhineland Heavy Draft
Russian Heavy Draft
Schleswig Heavy Draft
Shire
Sokolsky
Soviet Heavy Draft
Suffolk Punch
Toric
Trait du Nord
Vladimir Heavy Draft
A common misconception is that all coldblooded
horses are draft breeds. This is not true. All draft breeds are "coldblooded," but not all coldblooded
horses are drafts
At least in the United States, Drum
Horses (a.k.a Gypsy Vanners, Vanners, Tinkers, Gypsy Tinkers) and Friesians are considered carriage breeds, not draft breeds. However, other countries consider these two breeds drafts as well as Fjord
horses, Haflingers, and other breeds that we consider ponies in America. So, show us who you consider is a draft horse!
(Also, that helps avoid confusion, hopefully
)
Now for my drafters, I have a few

He does pretty well against the big guys, but I think his narrow face puts him back a bit.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Micro minis:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The one on the far left is special, Breyer has this promotion going on where in each box of mini whinnies, there is only one gold horse. I found out there is a special code you can use to figure out which one in the box is the gold one, and I thought for sure it was the right horse at the store where I found it, but the part of the code that would tell me for sure wasn't there!
I decided to buy that package anyway, and bought a traditional set there too. The store owner gave me the mini whinny for free.
I opened the package, and it was the gold one!
There used to be a voucher in the package too, that gave you the chance to win a Breyerfest ticket, but that promotion is over, so I didn't get that voucher.
Not that I would have won it anyway.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Babies!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I'll tell you, these micro minis are TINY! No, it should probably be written
tiny Wait, are we missing someone?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Ah, yes! We can't forget Princess!
Anyway, the micro minis are tiny
