Young Eastern Grey Kangaroo hopping

It's pretty hard to find a hopping kangaroo in amongst the brands so here's my version. If anyone has a hopping kangaroo in their collection I'd love to see it.

Wonderful kangaroo! It surprises me that there aren't more hopping kangaroos.

Thank you for all the great feedback. I find now I'm moving more & more towards non-traditional posing like the kangaroo (and also inspired by A-J's aardwolf and Joan's babirusa) and also the idea of using props too such as a tree branch etc.

The kagaroo is relly beautiful. Are you going to make copies

That's really an excelent figure, pose is great and according with the species featured. It looks realistic and it is also good that it is not the more common red kangaroo.

Thanks Roger, we live in an area where there are lots of grey kangaroos around so it was only fitting that mine was a grey! The reds are more inland and western Australia while the greys are typically east coast.

Interesting! I was referring to Toy Animal World, although it is not easy for me to identify both species, I suspect whenever a brand make a kangaroo and call it just kangaroo, it is the red one. That's why I am saying they're common.

Hi Littlebear, firstly thankyou for your interest in my models   the Dama was a commission for someone and was sent away so I'm unable to make a copy from it but I do have a similar model that I made as a practice one. If you want I can post photos. The kangaroo has some interest from a couple of others so I really must look into making copies.
