Comparing Mojö and Schleich horses

I've just discovered this new brand, and managed to read a bit about its origin in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. I've had a chance to check their 2012 catalogue and see some pics posted by other members. I was really impressed, but I have a doubt: how big are they compared to Schleich or Papo figures?

I'm especially curious about the horses.

Horses are slightly bigger then Schleich, scale 1:19 But they are not as big as CollectA horses. Only schleich horse I have with me is old chestnut draft, I will use him for comparison :)
For other animals: white rhino is about the size of current Schleich black rhino and Nile crocodile is very similar in size to Schleich croc :)
You see Appaloosa and QH are actually the same size as this Schleich horse. They have the same high in shoulders :)

How do you find them quality-wise? Is the plastic hard or soft as in Bully figures? Do they get easily scratched?

Mojo figures are similar to Schleich in many aspects. The plastic is very similar to Schleich and not to Bullyland. Sizes are also very similar, in average Mojo are slightly larger but not relevant differences.

Browsing the forum you'll find many more,
You can find on Toy Animal Wiki a complete list of Mojo horses with release years and pictures. I think you'll find funny as soon as you find who sculpted the 2012 horses!

Do you know the Mojö Arab mare is same big as the stallion or smaller?

I only have the handmade mare from Anna, but I think the size is the same  

She is smaller than the stallion, - but she is so feminine, it looks quite natural , doesn't it ?

Or he could be a shagya-arab, - they are larger

She certainly is 100 times more accurate than the mare from Schleich

About Mojö horses I don't know any size info.

Even with Schleich horses there is a different in size.... take the fjords, the first ones are smaller then the new ones.... also with the Friesian.... the first one looks like a pony compared to the new one .
I believe that if you love the little horses any brand is great to collect , and you miss out of some beautifull horses if you stay with one brand...
I use to collect only schleich.....and only with my fjord collection I collect the other brands, but since I discoverd collecta on this forum, my wishlist has greatly expanded

Noemi, the Mojo Arabian mare is similar in size to old versions of Schleich Arabians. New Schleich mare is smaller as far as I can see on photos.

Again the Appaloosa mold, now in another color and compared with a Schleich of a more similar conformation, the Hanoverian. They're almost the same size, only Schleich's is a little longer, heads are the same size and they are as tall as other.

Hi, wouldn't it be time we did a big Wikia dedicated to each brand, their current offers of each product, old versions and comparisons between brands?

I think not only collectors would be interested but so would parents (as me) purchasing these figurines for their children. The wikia could technically branch out later to include wooden toys from famous brands as well.
