Fisva's additions

Hey guys! Yesterday I've received a wonderful parcel from Amy. She sent me 6 beautiful figures from Safari Ltd. The lioness with cub is so BEAUTIFUL that she found a special place in my display case! And of course my lion cub which I've received from Rogerio has parents finally Now I have over 100 figures, all of them you can find [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
Unfortunately my mom told me that I should stop collecting figures at last, because I'm too old for it Moms don't understand anything!

Don't listen to your mom this time. My mom used to say similar things few years ago, now she finally accepted my hobby (and I'm only getting older, could you explain that to me?)

I was thinking exactly the same of Ana, unless in your picture, the Safari lion looks much better than what the image I was keeping in my memory. So Amy is finding parents to the crazy lion baby? Talking about parents I think always Mothers are right, I think also that you are too old to collect these figures and it is time to you start playing with them. As you did as a little girl, invite her, in a kind way, to play Lion King with you and I am sure she won't say anymore that your are too old to collect.
There are, on forum, many Mothers collecting too!

Thank you guys for all your support :) Yeah, the lion is really nice. I admit I hoped it is a small copy of the lion from Wildlife Wonders series (I'm not very informed about Safari Ltd. itself so I don't actually know when each figure was launched), but it seems it is not. I must say I don't like his hind legs at all (the one from Wildlife Wonders has better legs), part of his ears is painted pink, and he doesn't have genitals, but the figure is really nice overall. I think his face is even better than Schleich lion's; it reminds me of Aslan to be honest :) If you want I can make a small walkaround of the lion :)
The baby is actually a coyote cub :)

I would love a walk around of the Safari lion, we have a topic where people show some disappointment but without pictures.

Great new Safaris I like very much the face of the male lion, and yes, would be lovely to see a walkaround. Also very good photos

Maybe mothers complaining about the collecting passion(and whatever else their grown up kids do for their own joy), is just an expression for herself, that she dreams of doing the things she like, which she has forgotten about in her rush hour life.

I'm sorry for my absence but I'm enjoying my vacation  
Recently I've found this couple in my local store. They were on a discount, so I guess nobody wanted them for a long time. I've seen those almost a year ago but I've seen each of them in two different periods of time (and each time I couldn't find either male or female), so I've decided that I will not buy only one. This time I was very lucky and I guess that shop assistant put them together :)I actually went there to buy completely different figure, but well...

Yesterday I've received a parcel from Ana with her magnificent Urial among with a beautiful card. The copy is with my lucky number 21, which made me very surprised

I was browsing Polish auction website and I found this jackal at a very low price. I didn't hesitate much and I entered the auction to buy it. I read the description carefully and it turned out that the whole income from this auction is allocated to the purchase of a little foal. The foal's owner wanted to sell it to the butcher because he had no money to keep it and the local foundation took an action to rescue it. It is really sad that people will do everything for money, even sell a baby horse to a butcher. I hope that the foundtation will gather enough money to buy the foal and it will find a good owner.
