Among a flock of Durolin models, I found a funny, hollow model of an anteater , and upon request, here is a small walkaround of the beast  Very Happy

Here he is taking a walk in the sun, together with the anteater from Lineol :

Suspecting that not all of our friends have the anteater from Lineol, I presuaded the Papo anteater to take over for a couple of photos to show the size  Very Happy

Now a more regular walkaround.
As you can see, his poor nose has once been damaged, but he doesn't seem to be bothered  Laughing

The material is quite unusual. It is very hard, and the accident with his nose suggests that it is also brittle.
As you can see, the surface is not completely smooth, - it gives a nice feeling to the touch, instead of just smooth Wink

No indication of any marking, but looking very close, it seems that he has been made from two halves which have been assembeled Very Happy

Thanks for looking Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

That's a very unusual figure, there is a kind of flamboyant imagination when some artists tried to portray giant anteaters. They're esquisite creatures up to the point of being interpreted in a very wide range of ways. I think that's one of the reasons why I like so much anteater figures, we have 20 figures and it seems we have 20 different creatures. OK, the Chialu anteater still wins the prise of the most "rocambolesque" of ever but this one is very close! cheers

How I missed this topic is still a big mystery for me Shocked

Lisanto is one of my favorite vintage brand, it brings so much good flavours and energy to me. I'm no more than 8 years old when I watch one.

Surely the Anteater isn't the most realistic but it doesn't need to, it is a so charming character drunken

Oh he is so charming :)
And it has something very interesting on the style, the way it is sculpted.
