Breyer show in the Netherlands?

Hello Breyer people!

I have a question that is bothering me for a while now.
Does anyone know if there is something in the Netherlands like a Breyer (model horse) show?
Can't find nothing on the Internet so far...

I'm curious and maybe, maybe want to participate in one.

I was looking for this info also and couldn't find anything for long time. Then I started to ask on MPV forum, there I got info about shows in Germany and after some time I also have read about show in The Netherlands. This year Model Horse Live Show was somewhere in Rotterdam but unfortunately I get information about it after it happened. So, I only hope for next year. If I know something I will let know here also Perhaps someone knows something more?

That is very interesting Anna! The fact that the IS a show somewhere is exciting! I hope to find a site or something with more info, but nothing found yet... Rotterdam is far for me, so it must be a big show for me to go there XD

Not long ago, while searching info about LS in The Netherlands I have also found dutch forum for model horse collectors, but the forum is temporarily closed. But they wrote there info about live shows too. I will see when will it be open again. I think the community of model horse collectors in The Netherlands is not big, the mentioned forum has only 25 members, so I would also not expect very big show but who knows.

Unfortunately I don't know of any shows in the Netherlands, I only know of shows in the US, UK, Australia, and Germany.

Why don't you two just come to my show here in May? Won't take you long to get here

Btw. I will take part in my first live show ever in March - but I've no idea what to take ... They have lots of color classes and vintage classes and a Chriss Hess class ...ahh what should I take??

Since it's your first show only take what you feel comfortable with showing and don't overload yourself. Depending on the size of the classlist only take 20-30 horses and only show in one division. That will give you time to walk around and see everyone else's collections, check out stuff for sale, and just chat with other hobbyists. Don't be like me and bring over 100 horses, running around like a chicken with my head cut off at shows with 6 divisions running at once! Feel free to PM me if you need help with preparing for your first show, I'd be glad to help

I know there are shows in Sweden. But I have never been to one. So I don't know how big they are. I have seen pictures. They show all kinds of things, Peter Stone, Breyer, Schleich, Resin and so on. I really want to go someday. So today I payed for a membership too SMHF (Swedish model horse association). They will send out booklets, they apparently give invitations and information for shows in them.

They also posted on Marktplaats, but they don't give an address where the show will be. Just Baarn.

Yes, I contacted the girl who organizes it.
I'm not sure why it's necessary to write the email first, perhaps they need to know the exact number of the participants. There is some kind of entrance fee and it is different if you show the horses and different if you only want to look at the show (it's less if you only like to look). The fee covers coffee, tea, and something to eat as far as I know.
I expect rather a small show but I really want to come, it is interesting and fine to know some people from model horse hobby

I was on that LS today, it was very nice and even if it wasn't a very big show there still was a lot to see. I have never seen so many and so beautiful horse models at once at the same place. Really nice and inspiring I will upload photos soon and share here or in new topic

I attended another Live Show last Saturday, in Pijnacker, The Netherlands. Very nice event, a bit bigger than the last one. I enjoyed it very much and I'm looking forward to go to the next one, but it wouldn't be until the next year probably.
