I'm trying to complete US Yowie series without having to eat more dodgy chocolate and looking to do trades for haves/wants for any mix of series. NOTE: All items for trade have tags - some may be the newer version from the "Blast from the Past" series - I'm happy to check the tags for which version if it is important.

so far I only have a black jaguar... that isn't even the 2nd series it advertised as, is it? He'll go in a trade box anyhow, it's the pupfish and manatee I want. Others will have to see first.

Went to TAI, saw that the jaguar IS 2nd series... but I picked up one today and it was the pupfish yay ! It's the only one I really truly wanted, but I'll pick up more as I can. I'll be happy to trade/sell as I get them, I never did get the clownfish from the 1st series and wanted it. Of course, I expect some of these others will grow on me if I see them though.

Picked up a couple more today, got a 2nd pupfish...  I do like him though
And looks like my husband(!)  is keeping the Bald Eagle

I'll start a trade list also, would be willing to sell them too. I'll be trying to pick up more over the next few weeks.

Has anyone here seen the Bald Eagle? I've bought about four boxes here in Australia (and have some spares) but never seen one. Also, I was told the Palila hadn't been released, but I just got two of them in the UBD of Sep 2018. Perhaps they were only just released?
I have a special ask, I would love the collectors poster for US All American Collection, I can't get it in Australia. I have spare Aussie yowies and a spare Aussie poster if anyone would like to trade, or I'm happy just to buy one.
Also happy to buy US 2 yowies to complete my sets if anyone has any spare to sell? I need another Palila (I am doing sets for friends here and in Japan). Also, we need Boof, Black Footed Ferret x2, Horned Guanx2, Florida Manatee, South American Tapir x2, and of course Bald Eagle x3. Not expecting to get even one of those Eagles though lol
Someone told me that there was an English Bulldog released in one of the American Series, is that true?

Thank you Susanne! Firstly, a UBD is a Use By Date or perhaps a Best By Date. It's on the sticker at the bottom of the yowie. A poster is the paper sort that you can pin up on your wall. Rather than one that you download and then print out.
I think the person who told me about the English Bulldog meant the first US series, was that called the North American Collection? Maybe his leg was being pulled by Wayne Loxton who told him this! He worked in with Wayne to produce the new Yowies in the US when they first came out so he should have known what he was talking about!
I hope that maybe someone on the forums here may be able to help us complete our sets! Is there somewhere online that people buy boxes from?

Chris, the first US series was about Endangered wild animals and you can see them here!
The bulldog is much probably from this new series of real pets suggestedby Yowie collectors but I don't know how advanced it goes.

As a Yowie completist, maybe you could help us providing some pictures to complete the information at Toy Animal Wiki, the site that I and Susanne linked to you and that intends to be a guide for collectors of animal figures.

I don't think I've ever seen a poster for them... just the boxes where all the candies are.

I remember awhile back- maybe 3 months ago or something like that- Wilorvise here posted an Earl the Bulldog she got from a standard lot of series 2 Yowies at a store. So they aren't a myth, but are probably quite rare (that's the only one I've ever heard of). Maybe that one escaped accidentally?

I wouldn't mind helping you find pieces; I've had eagles pass through my hands several times but tend to give my spares to kids after awhile. It can take me awhile to find them though. I think NightElf here has some extras, you can try her and maybe Blublub or Takama also. (atm I have a ferret, palila and prairie hen extra)

From the want list, I currently have two Tapirs and one Bald Eagle I just got. I will nab a few more eggs from Walgreens this weekend if they have any (I'm still hunting for the vaquita, plus a bulldog would be really neat if the are out there). I haven't seen any posters in my area, but I will keep an eye out.

I will try and pick some up at Walmart this weekend also. Wish for luck!

Looks like between two of us, we have the palila and tapirs knocked out, along with one ferret and one eagle. We should be able to get this done!

The only place I've ever noticed entire boxes being sold is eBay- maybe Amazon has them too?

The palila was one of the earliest pieces I bought, late last year. I don't know why it's been so hard down there to find.

Hello I just managed to find this thread again with offers to help with my US yowies! Thanks to Jessica and Pipsxich. I actually just messaged Jessica before I found this. I am really keen to finish my set and also sets for two friends. Also I am interested in getting some more US 1 yowies. I will happily buy or trade for Aussie yowies, old and new. I even have a lot of US 2 spare lol! So to confirm my list now is

And Eric the Bulldog x3. He is what's called a Chase animal released with the second series. I believe pet owners entered a competition to get their pet featured.
Of course if it's too hard to get that many, whatever can be obtained will be great. I'm also happy to buy full boxes unopened and see how I go!

PS buying a box just means buying 12 in a box from a retail store :-) The boxes are open but they are convenient for packing. Sealed boxes can be bought here on eBay but they are the older June date which wasn't very good for the rares.
