Wonu - Domestic Goat Kid

Wonu is one of the domestic goat kids that live at the stables. He is playful and mischievous. The kids at the stables love playing with him and the other goats. He loves to explore and will try to break out to his penn to go on adventures all around the stables. He also loves attention and snacks.
His mother is the domestic (milk) goat. he has two siblings, Magic and Trixxie.


Wonu lives with Man beyond the Fog on the lake farm. Here Man keeps the goats for their milk and meat. Wonu is young and unworried for now, playing in the meadow with his fellow goats and the sheep lambs. Man might consider to keep him on as a breeding buck.
His mother is the milk goat Jenna and his siblings are Trixxie and Magi.

Wulfric - Boergoat Kid

Wulfric is one of the domestic goat kids that live at the stables, he is a boer goat. He is playful and mischievous. The kids at the stables love playing with him and the other goats. He loves to explore and will try to break out to his penn to go on adventures all around the stables. He also loves attention and snacks.
His parents are Dinkleberg and Rita.


Wulfric lives with Man beyond the Fog on the lake farm. Here Man keeps the goats for their milk and meat. Wulfric is young and unworried for now, playing in the meadow with his fellow goats and the sheep lambs. Man might consider to keep him on as a breeding buck.

Wyatt - Mini Shetland Stallion

Wyatt is a boisterous and showy mini Shetland stallion. He is nicknamed Why. He loves the attention the people at the stables shower him with. He's too small for riding, but makes for a great companion. He is allowed to roam freely. He sometimes pulls a little prank, but he is generally very well behaved and very sociable to the other horses.
He has one brother named Billy the Kid.


Wyatt is a member of the mountain clan. He is loud and boisterous. Even though he is small in stature, his heart and spirit are both very large. He is very proud and fancies himself a hero.
He is mated to Thea. Their unison has never been a happy one. Wyatt thinks her a nag. They have no offspring. There is doubt Wyatt is even still trying for it at this point.
Wyatt is a big advocate for alliances with other herds. He knows there is strength in numbers. He is not afraid of the Fae or other animals and only wants all the best for all the animals in the valley.

Wylla - Clydesdale Mare

Wylla is a calm and patient Clydesdale mare. Her owner is Gerrit, whom she genuinely trusts and loves. She always whinnies lovingly when he comes around to the stables and she tries to tickle his neck to show her affection to him.
She is a true draughter, often Gerrit brings her to farmer shows and the like to show what a wonderful draughter she is. She also often pulls team with her sister Bessie.
With the stallion Gloín, she has one filly named Dottie.


Wylla is a member of the Pendragon herd. She is not a very prominent member and tends to blend in with the crowd.
She has one sister, Bessie. She is mated to Gloín and has a daughter by him named Dottie.

Xalafu - Carnotaurus

Xalafu, like all beasts of his kind, lives in the backlands. He is a very fearsome beast, reacting aggressively to almost all other beasts of the Backlands. He seems to be related to Piet, who follows him around, he has the same posture and head crest.

Xander - Thoroughbred Colt

Xander is a young and sweet English Thoroughbred colt. He can be shy at times, but mostly he is playful and curious. He loves attention, so every petting hand is welcome. He is very independent from his mother, despite his young age. He's fine playing in the meadow with the other foals or staying in the stables alone when his mother is out riding.
In the meadow he plays mostly with Simon, Phoebe and Ty. He's not a very rough and tumble foal, but more a racer. He's very speedy and outruns most of the other foals, even when they are a bit older.
His parents are Elizabeth and Theoden. He has one sibling, a twin sister named Ann.


Xander lives with Man beyond the Fog, on the Lakefarm. He is playful and sweet and Man's young loves to play with him and the other foal Alice. He's not yet weaned and spends most of his time with his mother. He plays with Alice and Harry and convinces Philipah and Elsa to race him around the meadow.
His parents are Elizabeth and Theoden. He has one sibling, a twin sister named Ann.

Congratulations

Good News! Hurray!

It is time for a celebration at the stables. Vet Lievenhart has confirmed that Pryde Skirra is in foal. She is already quite a way along and it is likely that she was in foal when she was bought.
Vet Lievenhart thinks the foal will be born in July or August. Once he or she is born, a blood sample will be taken to test if our Aspen is, as we hope, the father of the foal.

Pryde Skirra will be given a special diet for mares in foal and we will adapt her exercise schedule to it. In the last month of her pregnancy she will be given rest and some extra pampering.
We can’t wait to meet this new foal and welcome him or her onto the stables.

Xaro Xhoan Daxos - Walrus

Xaro is a walrus living in the frozen north of Frostalgo. He is a very grumpy animal and the fae know to leave him alone. He usually sits alone on the icey beaches and mutters to himself, or he hunts in the frozen waters of the sea.
The merpeople say he is a bit more friendly to them, greeting them as he comes by them, but that is the extent of it.
Not more is known about him, for he keeps to himself and shares nothing with other animals.

Emanuel - Wombat

Emanuel lives at the rescue across the street from the stables. He is a wombat rescued from illegal trade. He is not very shy and keeps to himself. When people come to close to him, he can be quite assertive.  
He is in the same enclosure as Joey, the kangaroo joey and Milo the Quocka. They have a very close bond.


Emanuel is a very grumpy marsupial that lives on the edge of the plains, near the forrest. He is very solitary and moody. Most animals keep away from him because he prefers to be on his own and those interrupting his peace will get an earful
He has a burrow under a large tree on the edge of the woods.

Manu is the cocker spaniel dog owned by Mr. von den Perenbaum’s parents. They come over to the stables sometimes. When they come over, they bring Manu over.
Manu is a very playful and young dog. He loves to be over at the stables, as his housemate Raban doesn’t really want to play with him. He usually plays with the younger dogs and with the labs.


Manu is a hunting dog, living with Man beyond the Fog. Man keeps him especially to flush game out of denser brush and to retrieve water fowl shot down with arrows.
Manu is a very young dog and is still being trained. He loves nothing better than to play, especially with Man’s young.

Xas - Unicorn Colt

Xas is one of the youngest of Calydor's young colts. He is always seen closest by his mother’s side, nuzzling at her udders every time she stands still. It is unsure, though, if Valyria or Rosemary is his mother, he suckles from both of them. Xas has five siblings. These are Hope, Drew, Pickles, Tristan and Lapis.
The Fae don't know much more about Xas. They can't approach him, for if they try, Calydor will use his horn to back them off.

Xion - Pegasus Filly

Xion is a very beautiful pegasus filly. She is very soft spoken and the shyest of the pegasus foals. She is often seen in the sky and meadows playing with her friends. But she stays away from the fae and the herds of horses. She always keeps in eyeshot of her mother when she is on the ground.
Her sire is Skye and her dam Brisa. She has one older brother named Ventus.

Yao - Orient Dragon

Yao is a dragon not native to our valley. He is a seasonal visitor. He speaks a language only other dragons understand and he flies without wings. We know next to night about him, all we know is that when he is around, we are more fortunate in our endeavours.
What we do know is that Yao has one brother, named Chang and that he prefers to eat fish.

Valentines Day at the Stables.

Of course our stables organises something fun for horse and human on Valentines day. It is a holiday for everyone. There are workshops and events.
There are heart shaped horse snacks for sale, roses people can pass around to each other and the horses will be extra pampered.

This year though, is a little bit special.

Nico set up a special scavenger hunt for Tinka. They rode out together and Nico let Tinka find little tokens of his fondness for her. At the end of the hunt he’s asked her out. Her answer, a resounding yes.

The next day, they went out for dinner together. They both said they had a good time. Let’s hope something comes out of it!

Yavanna - Trakehner Mare

Yavanna is a sweet, a bit elderly, Trakehner Mare. She is gentle and patient and very open. She is well liked by riders and stablehands alike. She is easy to tend to and very obedient. She's very well trained in both dressage and jumping. She is available to more experienced riders and some are even allowed to take her to regional competitions.
Yavnna is very sociable to other horses, she is tollerant and patient and doesn't mind the companionship of other species either. She prefers to graze in the meadows with other mares, though. Her closest friend is Ika and the two always seek each other out when the chance presents itself.
Yavanna has two sisters, Maud and Elfia. She has no offspring.


Yavanna is a member of the Sextuplets herd. She is slightly elderly and a nice, gentle lady. She is sweet and soft spoken. She often tells stories of the olden days and of the Mythology of Alma to the foals, watching after them while the herd is moving along the grassy hills of the valley.
Yavanna is unmated. She has two sisters named Maud and Elfia.

Yazoo - Drum Horse Stallion

Yazoo is a Drum Horse stallion that is trained for stunt work in films and tv shows. He is strong and well trained and accustomed to busy film sets and heavy armour. Due to his vigorous training he is very patient and calm. He has nerves of steel and easily executes the most brutal battle scenes without startling or making one misstep. He does, however, have a strong will and needs a handler who knows what they are doing and is confident about themselves.
Yazoo is away from the stables more often than not. He often goes to the UK or the US for his work.


Yazoo used to be a member of the Pendragon herd. But a few years ago, the beastlings convinced them to their violence and now he is a steed to their fighter Xarok. Of course he was immediately evicted from the Pendragon herd and declared as their enemy. He is wanted, dead, not alive. He has been experimented with and would be a danger if he were captured alive. Some Fae think he can be healed, but King Ardanwen's sentence is final. All those who will attempt to save him will envoke his anger.

Yeobo - Asian Elephant Bull

Yeobo is one of the largest inhabitants of the tallwood jungle. He is a gentle giant, though and friendly to everyone he comes across. He is usually in the company of his mate and calves.
He is mated for Sun and together they have three calves named Flossie, Otje and Heechul.

Ariettie - Pinto Mare

Ariettie is one of these horses that goes by many a name. She is called Ari, Jettie, Gasse Arie and Jetta. She is a calm and gentle Pinto Mare. She is soft and sweet and an ideal horse for beginning riders that are already too tall for ponies.
She is training in all Western Disciplines, but is best at Trail and Racing. She is hard working and obedient. She prefers verbal commands over physical command, which makes her excellent for private lessons. She is also used for riders who have difficulty with their posture in the saddle, as she tends not to react too heavily to it.
She is also sociable, but a rather submissive horse. She is gentle to other horses and tends to let them boss her around if they are so disposed. Her meadow friends are Zoe, Rosalie, and Padme.
There are no plans of breeding with her as of yet.


Ariettie, usually called Jettie, is a member of the Wild Herd. She has a rather low status, because she is shy and non assertive. She keeps to herself and doesn't get involved in the politics of the herd. She associates only with her family and the few friends she has.
The friends she has in the herd are Chataya, Peppa and Whinney. They do stick together quite fiercely and stick up for each other’s interest if push comes to shove.

Bors - Bison Bull

Bors is a bison bull, who grazes on the plains and the grassy hills. He usually hangs out with the other bovine in the valley. His best friend is Hurricane. They are both in the same lot in life. Both have lost their mates to the beastling and understand each other’s pain. They find comfort in each other and help each other by taking turns looking after the calves.
Bors used to have a mate named Juno, but the beastlings have taken her life. She left him a son named Arman. Bors is fiercely protective of Arman.

Fluiter - Guinea Pig

Fluiter is Laura’s pet guinea pig. He lives with his sister Popcorn in a very roomy cage. He is castrated and a very happy little camper. Laura loves him very much and gives him a lot of affection every single day.
Fluiter loves to play around with Popcorn and his favourite snack is broccoli.

Ikkie - Rabbit Young

Ikkie is one of the cute little baby bunnies of the stables. He lives in the rabbit hutch with his mother and his siblings. He is soft and cuddly and very used to being picked up and cuddled. He is very sweet and calm and doesn't mind being held half the day.
His parents are Pipkin and Betony. He has several siblings, under which Bunbun, Hopscotch, Fiver and Hazel.


Ikkie lives in the rabbit colony in the fields of the Butterfly Fae. He is young and unworried and lives safe inside the warden and the fields around it. He is very outgoing and curious and tries to venture as far away from the warren as he is allowed, to explore. He plays with the other bunnies and the animals that accompany the butterfly Fae.
His parents are Pipkin and Betony. He has several siblings, under which Bunbun, Hopscotch, Fiver and Hazel.
