Kaiyodo Shinagawa Aquarium Asian Small-Clawed Otter Walkaround

I've been eying up this figure on Ebay for awhile, and finally decided to buckle down and buy it. It always blows my mind how Kaiyodo can so accurately capture the look and mannerisms of the species they're representing in these tiny figures. You can clearly tell that this is an Asian small-clawed otter, as opposed to any other species, and the dynamic pose gives it this unique sense of energy and life.

nice little otter; I have coming in the mail now the recently-released Wild Rush Asian small-clawed otter.

Wonderfully accurate and I think that is not oversized as are most otter figurines in the trade. So it passes the barrier of my requisites for add it to my collection: I like it. I will look for it at eBay in some moment.

Yes, I've noticed otters are often made very large, especially compared to the scale of a lot of other animals. Granted many species of otters are surprisingly big, but not quite that big.
