Roger, of course I will collect them all! The starfish is quite nice actually, although with my recent tarantula obssession(?) I really like the peacock tarantula.

A purple spotted hyena, the dingo(!), bat, and bumble bee.

Very nice models, I want the Hyena and the dingo.

I got three today- the cucumber, skink and viper.



The hyena and dingo do resemble Safari's; I wonder if there's more to it than copying? I think Yowies US headquarters is located in St. Augustine FL; Safari relocated to Jacksonville which is 40 or so miles up the coast. If Safari needed a quick cash infusion, a business deal with a close neighbor who isn't direct competition might have worked. Such as legal rights to copy some models or even use of desired molds.
I'd like to see the dingo compared to the Safari toob one, I may have the toob figure. Now to get the Yowie.

They're all looking wonderful, I love the Dingo!

A pity the overseas thing, I surely would love to get a bent-wing bat, how long will it take to we find it made by another company?

The skink and snake are super cute! Congrats Kelly. 

I can't take comparison pics yet as I am away from my collection, but while they are reminiscent and similar in style they don't have much in common besides that to Safari models in my opinion.

Hmm, they are different. I could have sworn I have a toob sized dingo that looks like that (and isn't new, so not a forgotten Yowie). Can't remember much anymore sigh.

Would anyone who has got one be happy to measure the height of the hyena for me?

I went to my Walmart today and bought the 10 they had LOL.

Of the 12 I want, I now have 8.

These are what I have extras of to trade:
1. bent-winged bat (2x)
2. hooded pithoui (2x)
3. brown sea cucumber (2x)
4. mutable rain frog (1x)
5. pygmy blue-tongued skink (1x)

This is what I still want/need:
1. Albert's lyrebird
4. rusty-patched bumblebee

For now, I am only trading within the US.

Got three more today, a pithoui and two mutable frogs. I'll add one of the frogs to my trade list when I update it. To have only gotten one double or don't want at this point (and no monsters) is very good, maybe the distribution of figures in this series is a little better?

Here is a comparison of some of my dingos and my hyenas. Roger, the hyena measures as approx. 3 cm tall and 5 cm nose to tail.

Thanks for measuring it and for the comparison photo. Hmm, unfortunately a bit too large, although it has a large mane and if I subtract 2 mm from 3 cm, then hooray!
