2021 STS Sealife Figure of the Year, time for your choices!

As you can see HERE, the STS 2021 Toy animal figure of the year competition is open.

It's time to make your  choices for Sealife. You have until February 5th, Saturday to list a a maximum of three figures to this category. On February 6th, Sunday, we'll start a poll with the figures with the biggest number of choices.

Models of all brands can compete, the only rule is that it must be a 2021 release.

It is a last minute topic, let me know if anything is missing, also, I am listing the fishing cat here but I believe it belongs to wildlife category.

@Roger - what you have as a 'shame-faced crab' is actually a giant mud crab (the shame-faced crab is a kind of box crab and not featured in this set; I think confusion occurred when it was originally advertised as having that species but it was replaced by the spectacled box crab)

this was a tough one for me. I only didn't choose one of the Bandai box crabs because the same sculpt was used last year ;-)

Again, this category have so large number of contendents that it would be better to chose 5 instead 3 :)

And the Schleich manatee is both in this category and in Wildlife?

Qualia African manatee 1 is not a manatee, is a dugong! The African manatee 2 is indeed a manatee.

Even belonging to the same set, I would disqualify the fishing cat as "sealife" and would put it in "wildlife". Same than in Land Invertebrates the set of dangerous creatures by Kaiyodo have only 1 figure that qualify for the thread, not every figure in a same set has to be in the same category.

That said, my 3 choices:

1. CollectA basking shark
2. CollectA American/Maine lobster
3. Kaiyodo Xingu river stingray

(I would chose the Schleich manatee instead but I already voted for it in Wildlife so not here)

Isidro, thanks for your feedback, I fixed the dugong mistake. You're right but this initiative is not that easy to organize, we need to split the work for several members and often, each one personal life does not allow to give to it the time needed. Manatee should be here and fishing cat on wildlife, I agree but these inconsistencies will always happen. The 3 choices is exactly because of the lack of time people has to dedicate to it because all choices need to be checked and counted to open the poll and it requires time.
I really think this initiative should be redesigned if we want it to continue in future years but maybe this topic is a better place to discuss it. If these choices topics get many posts like mine, it will get more difficult to count member choices.

The Kaiyodo Capsule Q "dangerous animals" cubozoan should be here too... and maybe the Xingu river stingray from same set (it's freshwater but brands generally put their freshwater animals into Sealife or Sealife/Polar category, for example the Ganges dolphin of CollectA is in this category)
