Unknown - wild canine

This guy was another gift from Mitsukuni, and I don't think it's meant to be any specific canid. It could as easily be a coyote or jackal or even a fox, or as Paige has pointed out a dhole, but here we'll assign him the title dingo especially since he is yellow. One that has perhaps have a very messy meal with all that red!

I love him. :) I recently discovered this figure and started repainting one of mine into a dhole. But the fun thing about this model is that it really could pass for several species! And for me anyway, thats not a bad thing. Congrats Jill!

I think tere are a few figures which look like this and it is curious that they match an animal we can't identify at all. It is a dingo in your collection, it could be a fox in mine and any other canid. For a fox the species I can rememberwith short faces and round ears are some desert foxes but they have bushier tails. South American foxes look more like small wolves. Since dingos are quite variable, I find it acceptable as one.
