PostSubject: Models of human figures, - show us your people :-D   Mon Jun 20, 2011 11:04 pm

Not so long ago I got the retired farmers from papo. I think they are wonderfully French Very Happy

Just like one of the retired couples from Schleich are wonderfully German/Schwiss.
It is quite fun to see that the farmers they make now are more modern, - but the most up-to-date of those that I have, are the latest ones from Bullyland, I think.

I think these farmers are SO lovely !

Aren`t these just from Mary Poppins ?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The oldest ones, - sturdy enough to be played with !

Mom and son
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Tha first ones from Bullyland, - they look like midgets :-D
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

A little more recent
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

These two could actually be from a farm around here where I live.

Please, show us if you have human figueres Very Happy
I would personally love to see the new papos, - and some from Safari flower

I'd love to see some Bullyland people, especially those related with horses Very Happy And Safari's too. There are too few photos of people models on the internet.
I'm going to buy some people models too, but most of those I want has to wait until I will have enough money for an order from MPV Razz

The Inuits are SO lovely.
Here are the most HORRIBLE Sapiens`es ever affraid

I would not have bought them if I had known how they look !
The first days I did not even unpack them.
- but having looked at them now and then for a couple of weeks, I begin to realise that
those cave men probably DID have hairy shoulders, big dirty feet and
greasy hair, so maybe these figueres are really very ok scratch scratch

But here they are, - ta-daaaa, the gruesom moster-stoneage macho monster-men alien

I will sell or trade my farm people from the modern brands, but i will keep the older stuff, and the persons, from which i think, that they have a relation to the wild- or forestlife.
Next to that, i will keep my early people like shown here before.
You can see them here:

Those are exceptional and unusual figueres, and very nicely made.

For all the brands that claim to have educational purpose this puts it in perspective.
These are so much more "educational" than cute girls with a little lamb or monkey.

I like the design. The people look just like people do, Miniland surely did a great job Very Happy

Thankyou for the photoes, Roger flower

PS, - I think the person to the left is an old lady Very Happy

Now more ladies of the Miniland Friends with disabilities set!
The dog is from Schleich, he thought he would be helpful to the green lady because she has a very short white cane! I love this set! I love you
