Friends, I’d like to share pictures of my newcomer – Safari Ltd Barn Owl. This brand new 2012 figure was kindly sent to me thanks to Mrs. Ramona Pariente.
To my mind, Wings of the World Series is the real gem of Safari Ltd. model range, and this bird is the only addition to the series this year. So, let’s take a look.

Why do brands keep making birds bigger and bigger? She is one gorgeous owl, though.

The sculpting is superb, but I don't think much of the painting I'm afraid. She looks beautiful on your display thought Kirill and you've taken excellent photos!

I know how you care with sizes and it is incredible to see the barn owl compared with the great horned owl. What a Face

It looks Safari understood that painting is not its strength point and worked nicely the details in sculpting! Maybe it explains the large size, more detailed in sculpting than the little CollectA but I'm afraid the painting is not as rich. Much probably in my wish list! cheers

Indeed, the details of sculpting in this bird are superior to its painting, making a kinda balance :)
It's rather large as well, that's why I placed it on a tree with almost no other figures around, to look more realistic.
