It's the 13115 hanoverain foal, but is is so dark, almost black Here's a picture of the lot off Marktplaats.nl (dutch ebay) with a red circle around The foal i brought: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Could it be that it is a rare colour variation? I haven't seen this foal so dark Or it isnt so rare at all and am I missing something? I havent paid much for it, tough.. Also, does someone else have it that dark?? Thanks for looking, Have a nice day Stardust~ |

Great that you got it! Maybe it's just very dark brown I've seen a pic and there was a same model in very dark color.. When you'll get it maybe you can take better photos _________________ Jonas Animals are my friends. I don't eat my friends. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

It looks to me that it is repainted. If you look close, you can see some red dots where the black paint rubbed off. But it's hard to tell with the blurry photo. You'll have to tell us when it arrives!

What I know is that the older version of this foal was darker and later it was updated for a lighter color. Susanne, Phil, or any other Schleich expert know it for sure.

That foal is so absolutely beautyful I have never seen it in black, but tha dark brown version is not VERY hard to find. My dark ones are made in Germany and the light one is made in China. From the design of the mark under the tummy of the foal, it looks like the Chinese one is made later, as Roger says. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]As you can see on the scratches on my dark ones, they are painted chestnuts. However, this little flock is not sufficient to say that this is how it is 100 %...there may of course be others It seems they did that a lot, I have the chestnut Shire 13222 and the chestnut Hanoveranian 13227 painted darker, too

I think the 13115 hanoverain foal is excellent and I like it very much. Here is my foal. It's made in Germany. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]" /> Some animal figures keep two paint versions such as the African black rhino, here are my African black rhinos. They are both made in Portugal [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]" /> You can distinguish them by different paintwork easily. The left one is darker than the right one. In Chinese market. The price of the rare version is always higher than the common ones.I think you will enjoy your new foal.It is very cute and very hard to find.

Great, 邪龙 So the colour of the foal is about the age and not the country , - wonderful Rhinoes, too
