We used to have a long haired guinea pig, his hair would get terribly matted, so we'd have to bath him and brush him every so often - he didn't really like it either though.

| Ha, ha, it reminds me, - when our son was 3 - 4 years old, there was a period where he did NOT want to have his hair washed !!!! No matter what we did or didn `t do, he would sreeeeeeem like a banshee ! We promised him all the ice cream he could eat, - we bougt a screeen to protect his eyes, we sang for him, tried to make it a funny game, read books about it, but nothing helped .... he was sure it would kill him to have his hair washed !!! So we always waited till the neigbours were out, in case they would think we were committing child abuse |
