Congrats! Very Happy How do you like Haute? Most of the people I talked to in person at Breyerfest didn't like him after seeing him in person, but he was still the first to sell out. Actually, he sold out before the surprise model, which almost never happens!

Haute is special Very Happy I can understand that not everyone liked him though. He is different. But I researched a lot of in hand photos before buying one, to be completely sure.
Interesting that he sold out as the first Smile

Oops, I missed this Embarassed But very nice additions, Carola, congratulations! cheers Applause I'm not a Breyer professional, but they all look very nice to me! I know it's not one of your additions, but I especially really like your Radar horse; love the colour combination!

And it's good to hear the changes in your life aren't bad ones! Everything under control? Wink

Thank you Julie, and thanks for your concern cheers Radar is one of my faves, who is a portrait of a World Record winner for being the tallest horse, I think. The model however is not the tallest of Breyer drafts Rolling Eyes

Oh well, an odd couple arrived in my mailbox yesterday, and here they are cheers

The CollectA Deluxe 2015 Mustang Stallion light palomino colour variant and Breyer Classic Cosette I love you Both bought from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I think maybe they fell in love on that long trip together Rolling Eyes
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I've already made a detailed walkaround of the Mustang which you can go view arrow [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] .
I'm incredibly pleased with this new CollectA model, I must say!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Beautiful Cosette I love you She is a BreyerHorses 2014 web exclusive, which means she can only be ordered directly from Breyer. MPV however bought a bunch and sold them further, which is really great, so I'd go free of the customs and extra wait time Cool
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I don't have many Classic Breyers, but this little elegant girl I just needed. She was sculpted by [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] . The molds by M. Love were retired for some reason, years back - something about Breyer losing the license - but now they've appeared a couple of times as specials.... wonder how!?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

She is obviously an Arabian cross of some kind, since Arabians are not pinto.

Congrats. What a nice pair. They do seem in love. Wink

Perhaps Breyer got a special license to produce X-number total on the moulds over a certain time period?

That's not a draft horse! Laughing

Breyer lost the rights to the mold against Hagen-Renaker, as the molds are actually belonging to HR. Recently Breyer was able to secure the rights for lower runs, so although we won't be seeing Love RRs any time soon at least we might see some SRs.

Anyway, congrats on the new model Very Happy I love my Cosette, you need the stallion and foal to go with her now. Wink

Maybe Cosette got her pinto color from a Gypsy Vanner far out in her family - which means she can count as a little bit draft tongue But the mustang I have no explanation for... Rolling Eyes Other than they are in love, and I can't seperate them.

Thanks a lot for explaining Very Happy I'm very happy to add Maureen Love to my 'collection' of artists. And happy that we may see her works just a little bit nowadays.

Oh yes, the Stallion and Foal set is really cute Very Happy I saw yours, really neat molds too Very Happy But that'll be a challenge for the Mustang then cyclops Razz

You could argue that you were choosing members for your collection and that they were your first choices or  draft picks at the time Wink

Marwari, Haute Couture Collecta mustang Smaller Breyer and a drafter.. You keep buying them horses Very Happy
You lucky girl getting Marwari my number one fave Breyer haha lol. I wonder how expensive that leopard pon on was. More than 200€?  :lol:your not gonna tell me the exact price are you? Razz

Oh I didn't remember Copperfox models are solid! That's so cool! I've been buying resins from Anna, so I hope one day I'll get my hands on the Connemara.

Yes Harley is fabulous. But you know what. I sold him Laughing Embarassed yes I just don't get the feeling  "that's the one" you know. Basically I bought him based on other peoples opinions. Then I stared thinking do I really wanna start with the Breyer thing again. I mean I see you're totally gone by now there's no way back Very Happy

I bought mine for $55 at BF Razz Just wait, the prices will eventually settle back down to the $60-$70 mark.

Yeah, I am sure they were cheaper on the day Very Happy Same with Jesse right now. People sell them for $100+ which is crazy as (if I am not mistaken of course) his retail price is around $60 in the stores at the moment.. I shall either wait for price drop or just buy the RR next year! (sorry, went waaaay off-topic here, lol)

Thanks Jonas for your comments  Very Happy I enjoyed them very much  Very Happy I somtimes have the same feelings for models as you ended up having with Harley - they just don't rock the boat no matter how nice other people say it is. Then I sell it or just never aquire it  Very Happy

My Haute Couture was 125 USD. So a middle-priced model, but still the seller got a niiiice extra bit of money from it.

I will also wait for the Babyflo Wyatt, instead of spending loads on a Jesse... I think he is very overpriced currently. Haute was enough overprice feel to me for a long time tongue

And for the newcomers Very Happy

I got a few more of the CollectA Deluxe Horses - 2012 Arabian Stallion, Bright Bay - 2013 Thoroughbred Mare, Bay - 2013 Andalusian Stallion, Dark Dapple Grey Very Happy

Oh they are lovely, congratulations again, Carola! Are these CollectA Deluxe horses the same material as the 'normal' CollectA figurines or are they more like Breyer? scratch I really want one (or two xD) of the Mustang horses, but that Andalusian is very tempting as well.. drunken

Ooo, Quite a collection you've got there! <3 Loving your Mustang!
Agreed, we better wait rather than spend loads of money on an overpriced model. Speaking of waiting - VALEGRO! Razz

They are the same material as the smaller CollectA I suppose but feel a ton more sturdier! Also they are quite heavy, compared to Breyers. I would definitely recommend the Mustang! He's the prettiest of all Deluxe models.

They are the same material as the smaller CollectA  I suppose but feel a ton more sturdier! Also they are quite heavy, compared to Breyers. I would definitely recommend the Mustang! He's the prettiest of all Deluxe models.

Thank you very much, Stani! cheers

Congrats, I've been debating if I would like to get the thoroughbreds, but haven't arrived at a definitive conclusion yet. Regardless, all are lovely models! sunny

You got your answer just there Wink I'll agree that if going for a Deluxe model - go for the 2015 Mustang. But I personally also like very much the Arabian. But should I pick only one it'll be the Palomino Mustang.

I must say that the Thoroughbred is the one I got dissapointed with. In my opinion she is the worst of the line yet. But that is a question of taste. She does have a very cute face Very Happy

I missed some of your additions! Always a good taste concerning horse figures. Very Happy I think it is the first time I see a Pintabian horse replicated? scratch The CollectA Mustang just rocks among your Breyers! Very Happy

Thanks for the walkaround of the thoroughbred, I don't think I will get them after all. Do you have any advice on the smaller thoroughbreds? I'm just nervous because I'm a big fan of this pear shape you brought to my attention. Neutral

Thank you  Very Happy I think Breyer has put many strange colours on their Arabian molds. One of the CollectA Deluxe colour variants of the Arabian Stallion is actually Pintabian - or half-arabian as they call it  study [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I don't own the smaller scale Thoroughbred, but I believe that she is a lot better mold than the Deluxe version. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The pear shape seems to be less expressed in the smaller scale models, sometimes even non present. The Hanoverian from 2010 is a good example of a nice mold, I think. The pear shape issue is, to me, only a real issue among the Deluxes.

Seeing Carola doesn't have the model you asked for, I thought I'd jump in and say "I vote yes with both my hands!" The smaller Thorougbred by CollectA is much much much better - if you are thinking of ordering it - go for it :)
