Mojo fun stoat walkaround by Ana

Few days ago I got very nice gift from James, it was new Mojo fun stoat! A lovely species, beautifully made figure, great addition to my collection! I decided to take some photos, I'm so happy to have it, I thought I need to share And I think it soon will be available in shops too

Some info about stoats, quoting wikipedia: "The stoat (Mustela erminea), also known as the ermine or short-tailed weasel, is a species of Mustelidae native to Eurasia and North America, distinguished from the least weasel by its larger size and longer tail with a prominent black tip. Its range has expanded since the late 19th century to include New Zealand, where it is held responsible for declines in native bird populations. It is classed by the IUCN as Least Concern, due to its wide circumpolar distribution, and because it does not face any significant threat to its survival. It is nominated among the 100 "world's worst invasive species"."












It's such a nice, cute face, it's easy to forget it's really a skilful predator and for a little birds that must be a picture of horror

It was not hard to make a chubby and cute animal from that creature but I like the way Mojo works to give good proportions and the most realistic interpretation of an animal. That's the way I like them, I love to collect figures that look like real animals are. I am really excited to have this figure too. An extra prise is that cute face, cute like real stoats and also the typical pose of an observant male choosing next victim.

I like this unchubby stoat, my hares are already afraid . MOJÖ made a very nice job on this one and I'm very happy to have at least some news of James works

I don't know when exactly it will appear in shops, but this model is from regular production so I think it shall be soon on shops shelves.

Oh my goodness, YES! I am so buying this when he's available in the states! Love the stoat! What fine detail too. In fact, I might buy 2: One to keep original, and one to customize as an ermine with white fur and black tail tip!

More figures of weasel family members (Mustelidae)? I think from Mojo will be: stoat, wolverine and honey badger family   If you would like to see more figures I think we have SUY topic about Mustelidae somewhere already

Maybe OVER than what I expected to see. :)

I do like the Badgers and otters they look great!!
Most are old and that I am sure that i will not be able to find.
I already have the wolverine from sch. and I am looking for a mate for him - any suggestions? (scaled)
I have the River Otter from Sch. as well and I think it is a great figure - also thinking to find a Sea Otter somewhere and more otters - the more the merrier.
And the Stoat is first in my wishlist! I want him and I hope that I could get it :)
And last but not least - the Honey Badger Family - They are truly amazing figurines - It seems like the female is longer than the male and the back coloring is darker on hers than his.

Wow!!!! so many Mustelidae species out there! Hope they'll be more to come so I can have some as well :) they definitely makes any nature scene complete.
